Nope, all of nvidia's demo's are OpenGL or CG using their own proprietary extensions that enables the demo to use new techniques before Khronos implements OpenGL standardized versions.

Run the demos with Afterburner and see for yourself what DX version they're using

I don't have to run anything, i know that the FX and 6 series demo's are opengl because of the layout of the shaders as well as the fact they could only be run on ATI cards by using a modified OpenGL ICD.

and Adrianne is OpenGL 3.x as it was one of the first "Dx10 Demos" that worked on XP as well, Same goes for Froggy.

Stone giant im not to sure about, but going by nvidia's history its probably also an opengl demo. Its an nvidia demo that was produced by another firm, so it does use D3D.

the other demo's are inhouse and use opengl.

This is what appears if you globally disable most opengl extensions and try to run Nalo

Thats strange, as Dawn is a 5800/5600 demo, Dusk is the 5900Ultra demo, Nalu is the 6800 Demo and Luna the 7xxx series Demo.

Thats definitely an opengl issue, though it could be caused by having too many extensions (though that'd usually just invoke a crash.)

Is heaven running in opengl? if it is, then that coincides with the older demo's running into the Extension limit issue. You'll need to wait till nhancer is updated, or see if inspector lets you set the extension limit hex value.

the value '4844' should get most of them working.

ok, if heaven is failing in opengl, then its an opengl icd issue, so yeah try updating the driver.

    clear sailing
    timbury
    charmeleon
