Same speculation everyone has been supposing. Of course they will have a new GPU, but they haven't revealed it.

Yeah. Speculation. Everyone is expecting announcements in March or April and hoping for a launch in May, same as with 10xx series in 2016.

I really should do an avatar picture and a signature now that I'm officially a "Superclocked Member". Funny, I don't *feel* "Superclocked"? Might be because of the gpu shortage. Or the weather. Or whether or not the weather improves. I'm not sure, really.

What I am wondering is even if they announce next gen cards, wouldn’t the supply of the new cards would be just as bad as it is now? Like it won’t really improve the situation would it?

CPU can also be super clocked. GPU shortages will come and go, but you will stay clocked up. Enjoy

Not really. Before they launch the new cards will have been through a production run of GPUs in 6 to 7 figures, to stock enough cards with various retailers. So in the first few days/weeks there should be enough supply. Eventually it will come down - if the mining craze keeps up. Keep in mind that with the new cards many gamers who have not made their upgrades due to high prices will be primed to buy, so the stock will go down fast due to both gamers and miners.
