Since there's only 2 pages that shortcuts can be on, where would other shortcuts go if I add more?

When you move apps around, (hold on an app and there is a menu that will come up, select Edit Home Screen) you can add pages by just moving an app to the left past the last page. The iOS will add the page automatically. You can do this at any time. You can have as much or as little as you want on each page. You can group apps by moving on on top of another.

Great. I'm happy it adds pages. Was worried it was limited to the 3 pages that is there initially. Thanks.

Not sure if you know this, but you can group Apps into one folder. So if you have several Apps with Tech magazines you can hold your finger on one of the Tech magazine Apps until it starts to dance then drag it on top of of another Tech magazine App. The result will be a Folder that now contains like Apps for which you can Name Tech Mag's or anything else.

So, I shared this with XRay via PM, and will share it here as well. XRay got a little more info than I will paste here:

me
So, the tile (the icon for an App) just goes to the very edge of the screen and it will move over.

Hover with one tile over another tile, and it will join them in a folder.

There is a huge difference between shortcuts and tiles.

Shortcuts are tasks that Siri complete when you say hey Siri. One example of a Shortcut is saying something like, “hey Siri, I’m being pulled over by the police” and the shortcut will do a ton of things to the phone without you touching it. Some of the things would be dimming the screen so it looks completely black, turning the forward facing camera on, sending a text to a designated loved one, and then sending the full video to them after the encounter.

A tile is just the icon for the apps you have. Apple does not allow these to be hidden like Android does. All of your tiles will either be on the homescreen/main screen or will be placed in a folder, but one of the two will always be visible.

To create more screens for tiles, move 1 tile to the far right of the screen and it will create another page with just a single tile on it.

If you move that 1 tile back to an already populated screen, the extra page will disappear, unlike android that will allow you to have a page completely void of any tiles.

Grouping the apps you use a lot into folders of apps you often use together is very handy. I have all my home automation apps together as well as the apps I would use while out and about. I also have apps I normally use at the start of the day like calendar and weather together.  I like to try to keep my phone organized so I can find what I need quickly without a lot of looking around.

How do you move it from one page to another?

To move an App or Folder from one page to the other just make it dance by holding your finger on it. And keep your finger on it (don’t lift your finger off the App or Folder while making it dance) After a second or two when the dance starts and while the finger is still on the App or Folder, you can slide the App or Folder to different positions on that page, in a different location between Apps inside a Folder, or move it to a different page by sliding your finger to the edge of the screen and holding it there for a second or two until a new page is created or moved to an already created page.
