I have a question about using the step up program

If i purchase a 2080 ftw3 ultra because the 2080ti ftw3 is not in stock, can i step up to a 2080ti when it comes in stock?

Seems like a fair practice

You could step up but it will only be to the base 2080 Ti black (non XC) and you'll must likely wait longer even when stock shows up for it.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

If you read the very comprehensive FAQ on this question, it is explained very well.

    Hello Yamataz,

Just to clarify the step up program. The cards listed and the terms and conditions are listed on .

Here's a quick snippet of it below.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Only EVGA products are eligible for the Step-Up program.
EVGA Step-Up is currently only available to residents of the United States, Canada and EU Countries.
EVGA Step-Up is available only to the original end-user purchaser of the product from a valid reseller.
The EVGA Step-Up program is available to EVGA graphics cards and motherboards for customers within 90 days of their original purchase date based on invoice verification.

    Graphics Cards

    • EVGA will only release reference versions of its products, NVIDIA reference spec and clock, to the Step-Up program.
    • Step-Up is limited to pre-approved graphics cards only and can only be used for exchange to a different and higher performing GPU.
    • Products known to have a limited availability will not be made available to the Step-Up program. (Limited availability determined by EVGA.)
    • Customers who received their EVGA graphics card as part of a complete computer system are not eligible - except for those listed on our approved .

The FTW3 Models would be our Custom PCB design and not a reference designed card.

If you have any further questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us back via support ticket or through our Customer Support Line 1 (888) 881-3842.

    Regards,
    Thomas N.
