sorry if this was asked before but is 2 fans a much better idea than one? my pc normally runs around 60c

    GPU wise the dual fan versions usually have larger heatsinks meaning more surface area and thus better cooling, the two fans can usually run slower than the single fan to maintain the same temperature which means less noise as well.  I have the single fan 1060 card and it runs really well so I imagine the dual fan versions would be quieter and or cooler still.

    my 760 is pretty silent and i was wondering how much louder this a 1080 with 2 fans would be, if i would even notice it

    Two fans should be quieter than a blower style fan (single fan) for sure.
