Well, there is the standard way, yes? I think there is only one way, and it hasn't changed.
    Well, 3 ways.
One way is to remove the fans, look at the part number on the sticker on the back, and buy replacement fans (you can find them on AliExpress most of the time).
A second way is to replace the card via warranty.
And a third way is to remove fans, peel up a part of the sticker on the back, put a drop of machine oil on the center, push the sticker back on, and reinstall the fans. I am sure that there are hundreds of tutorials on YouTube. This third way only works on some types of fans, but they are the majority of fans. I don't know if your video card uses this type of fan, but odds are it does.
Even if method 3 works, it is likely only temporary. It depends how much wear and damage has been done. Method 1 is the method I would use.

This is my card model: 08G-P4-2081-KR
AFAIK the fans use 2 screws to secure them

The machine oil suggestion seems like a good idea to get more gaming in before I can scrape up enough for a new card

Checking my serial number shows my card has lapsed for warranty so the DIY fix is the only option

Most EVGA cards have 3 points for mounting the fan, and you can typically access the screws through the blades. Hopefully you can find a replacement or do the DIY fix.

So much for fixing, card now is dead, no display at all now

this card has now delivered the shortest service life of a video card I have ever owned

Now I am using my RX 480 pending some procurements
