Use total uninstall 6. Remove precision XOC fully. Restart your pc and reinstall Precision XOC. Restart your pc and load up precision XOC and then all should be fine

Yes the Precision X OC Software has Severe issues, Several Steam Games will not Exit with the Precision X OC running in the background. Games freeze on Exit and have to do a Force Close with this EVGA Tool Running.

If the Precision X OC is not running in the Background all Games Close out Perfectly on Exit. Related mainly to the Unity games. and Compatibility issue with the Precision X OC Software.

Also the Closed Loop Water Cooler Software Flow Control is very Poor and the GUI opens up all Cut off and have to force end it and Re-Open it for the GUI to show the Full Window. Please EVGA update your Tools! I have Spent a lot of $Funds for your Products.

so it is not due to the hardware itself eh? I just bought a gtx 1080ti sc2 few weeks ago and was thinking to return it. I am getting frustrated with this

No it did not help, and it is not the Hardware as this Software happens on 8 Different PCs that I had Built.
They need to update it, seems to have Memory leaks in their Software after it has been running for a while.
I have tried everything suggested and no Resolve.

This same issue had happened on an older Version of this Software with another Game a year ago, i had to shut down the OC Tool just to be able to play it from Steam. Then they did a Update on the Precision X OC to a newer version and the issue was solved for that Game. Now it is having Compatibly issues with newer and recent Games that I Purchased from Steam.
The Water Cooler Flow Control is really Poor at it's current Build States. When you try and save the settings the Ok Button does nothing.
    Kind regards.

Yeah it is kinda annoying now. I built my pc like 3 weeks ago, and actually I just switched gpus( my first was gigabyte gtx 1080ti but I did not like the looks) then I switched to evga 1080ti sc2. Never had issues with previous gpu. I do not know what to do

No I did not uninstall my Precision X OC, I need it to Cool the 1080 wit the Fan Controller.
What I do is just live with it, for now, and I do a Force Close on the games that Freeze on exit.
If you are getting Blue Screens from this Software I would check with the Dev's Directly for your issues.
I at least am not getting BOSDs as of yet.
Good Luck and Kind Regards to you.

Some people use MSI's Afterburner to control their video cards, might want to give that a try.  It works on any manufactures card.

Thank You, I will give that a try, until they can get there Software Updated better.
Also I had forgotten about the Gigabyte Software, as it has a very good looking GUI.
    Cheers.

I use an older version of the software before EVGA un-fixed it.
worked fine all year on win-10 and it's updates.
