I am stuck at the logo with 92 bottom right corner. I am not able to go to bios . Please help . 2.08 is bumming me out!!

Many users got 92 hang on Z690 Classified but EVGA don't want to listen and made this bios official release

I had the same issue with 2.08. Turn off power supply off for 10 mins, turn PSU back on and clear CMOS, try to boot up OS again. 

You didn’t have to take out the motherboard battery?

I just heard it was officially released so I attempted to update from my stable 2.5. Huge mistake. I have a i9 12900

What are your full system specs, including memory and storage drives? 

I would love to but I can’t. I put 05 on usb and also renamed it but no luck

Nope, I just shut it down after it gets stuck in code 92 then proceeded to swap to another working bios and after that one booted normally I shut down and swap back to the 2.08 bios and it booted like it was supposed to.

Everyone that is having trouble with 2.08, try put the last bios before 2.08 with bios flashback , then proceed to put 2.08 with bios flashback
i have a feeling it will work cause i had similar thing happening.

Update: I was able to fix the 92 code issue. After many bios attempts using usb I was able to flashback to 2.05. I tried a lot of usbs that were formatted correctly with the appropriate file name change . If you are not able to flashback try other brands of usbs! I also changed display port to hdmi right before flash.

ive been talking to evga about an rma since i cant load any bios past 2.01, they told me the bios team cant replicate the 92 error issue lol, that and my clr cmos button doesnt work all the time and the reset button is flaky too. im almost at the point of taking this as a loss and getting another mobo from another vendor

That is correct.  When I last spoke to our BIOS team before CNY, they were unable to replicate the issue.  As I mentioned in your last support ticket, I think it may be worthwhile setting up an RMA given the other issues you've also reported.  I'd be happy to get that started for you.

hey thanks for the reply, yeah ive been testing my issue with the clr cmos button not working. after i sent the service ticket i tried it a couple more times and it actually worked, first time it ever worked, so ive been trying to decide if im going to leave it or not, id hate to send in a mobo that you guys cant find the issues ive had
edit actually with all my bios issues id like to cross ship rma

hey so i got the rma z690, and it still wont load bios2.08 has the same 92 error code and wont boot into windows

From what I've experienced myself and seen from others, it looks like 2.08 doesn't play nicely with the 12900k.  Assuming it's the new  microcode in 2.08 (which aligns with what Lee had mentioned).  For the meantime, I'm personally running 2.06 with my 12900k (13900ks coming in a couple weeks).
 

just wanted to chime in I also have the same issue on 2.08 stuck showing code 92 and i think maybe the first person here commenting with a 13th gen CPU.

not positive what is the most stable BIOS that supports 13th gen oh shoot looks like 2.01 does. ill try the 2.06 that others recommended.

Wonder how many others with 13th gen are experiencing the issue.  As an update on my status my 12900k couldn't run with 2.08 at all (error 92).  Just installed a 13900KS and took a chance to update to 2.08 and can report that I saw no errors when updating and am currently running a-okay (using the 10E microcode).  Currently in the process of figuring out stable OC settings and whatnot.

2.06 is golden, upgrade to 2.08 and stuck at code 92. Flashback to 2.06 resolves it.

I got stuck on code 92 for several attempts at installing 2.08. Each time, I then flashed back to the original BIOS on the EVGA USB that came with the mobo. It probably took 4 or 5 tries, but 2.08 finally installed and has been fine since. I only put 2.08 on one of the BIOS (switch) slots and left the other BIOS alone with their defaults.
