Hey y'all, I have my Creative audio up and running but I seem to be having an issue with the NU Front Panel Audio.

When I installed the driver for my board (from this website) it seemed to go very fast, sot sure if that has anything to do with it but, I am now getting an error on every boot, and when I try to plug in my headphones. I'm attaching the error I'm getting in a screenshot to see if anyone know whats may be going on here.

Other then this ONE thing, so far, this board is AWESOME!!

Are all the Windows Updates Installed?
    Is this Win10 1903?
Are you installing the Current NU Driver?
Audio Driver - EVGA NU Audio 1.0.5 131-CS-E399 Windows 10 64bit Download  View
You might want to install the Current Chipset Drivers as well.

Yes, I downloaded all of the current drivers, 1.0.5 is installed. Although I'm not sure it installed correctly, I may try a reinstall.

I also downloaded the latest Windows 10 and made an iso, in system info it says "10.0.18362 Build 18362" so, whatever that version is.

Can I just install those new chipset driver over the top of the ones I have installed?? 10.117711.8088

    thanks man

Cool I'll try that now. I have them downloaded.

I tried reinstalling the NU driver but got an error, so I tried the one on the USB and it gave me an error too, I think the error is that it is already installed though.

bcavnaugh, I am still trying to figure out why my CPU is staying so warm I mean 32c is not hot but it just seem warm for a cpu that supposed to throttle down to 3.6. I'm afraid to stress it until I find out whats going on.

I noticed that it's running at about 4.6-4.7 steady, I downloaded the ELEET X software and watched it for a bit, it just seems to be bouncing around those numbers.

I have it set to auto in the BIOS with HT and the Turbo on, is there some secret to getting this CPU to throttle all the way down?

    thanks man

That's a negative on the chipset driver update, it will not install, it just ends with an unknown error.

I'm out of ideas on this one, might have to call tech support.

Go into Device Manger and Click on Each of your USB Items and Click Update Driver.
Did you Right Click on the File and Select Run as administrator?
If the Chipset Drivers are Error Out then you might have other problems.
Did you use the USB Thumb Drive that Came with the Motherboard to Auto Install all the Drivers?

This Process works best with Windows 10, it also installs the Intel ME Drivers and Software.
From this Point you can then install any Newer Drivers.

No I didn't use the USB, at first, I usually download the latest drivers from the mobo maker when I set up a system, in the old days you would get a CD with way outdated drivers on it so I just got used to doing it this way.

I always right click and run as admin, force of habit.

I was able to uninstall the NU driver/app (found the file with the uninstall in it) and then the installer works to reinstall, but it still give that goofy error.

My front ports work with the Creative sound card, which is NOT a bad sound device in 5.1, so I may just leave that NU app out if I can't get this fixed.

I'll try to use the USB and see what that does.

The reason I started using the DVD/USB now is it will install the Driver is the Correct Order, Intel ME can be a Pain sometimes.
I started this back on the X99/Z370 Motherboards under Windows 10.

SSL/TLS makes me think something is trying to connect to a website of some kind.  You could test this out by going to Internet Options -> Advanced tab and scrolling down and checking the SSL 3.0 box which should be unchecked.  If any of the TLS 1.0 TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2 boxes are checked you can try those as well but only do one at a time.
