Not a big fan of the half baked specialist system and other questionable decisions like 3rd person take-downs and flight mechanics, but I gotta say I had tons of fun. Gunplay felt very satisfying, the movement, although very twitchy and fast actually felt pretty good in first person. Was kind of annoying though when trying to shoot others though lol, but watching footage back at slower speed it seems like the animations were all at like 30fps and very twitchy even when people arent moving very fast so hopefully thats been figured out. Map design and flow was so much better than i expected. I was very skeptical about things like the grapple and the anti-gravity ziplines but I kind of fell in love with them. Can be pretty annoying though as you can get flanked in ways you would never expect or have dudes hiding in very sneaky places. Good thing is we can restrict that stuff in the portal mode.
 
Flight mechanics are a huge bummer though in their current state. Satisfying to rocket barrage a bunch of helpless dudes yes, but not very satisfying to fly around. Jets are so damn slow for how big the map is. 400 kmh is ridiculous. I can look over the silly specialists and jank monetization ploys thanks to portal, but if the flight mechanics suck there too then thats a huuuge bummer.

To me it seems like COD to be honest. I like it but not going to be an early adopter in this game.
