This error is unknown, has anyone had it and managed to have it repaired. Being a unknown error doesn't seem good.

It's a secondary error, you have to hold the small sync button and pres the eject 4 times to get a code

I love my gaming pc and consoles, at least i get to play great games which don't make the pc.

Now how did you get an error code again? You have to have a RROD showing for the code to pop up or what? My old xbox ( 2007 model ) locks up now and my screen has these huge checkered things all over it, which I would assume is artifacting.

Also anyone i have spare 80mm fans i could use to replace the 360's rubbish delta fan. Is that possible to use any 2 80mm fans or is it 60mm.

Who is doing it?  I just had mine reballed(replaces the solder under the GPU) a couple weeks ago and it is working fine so far.

Got rid of those x clamps ages ago and put down some decent paste, the deltas in mine are quite loud and make a horrible buzzing noise.

Back when my first 360 had the E71 error, I found a trick that got it working again for a while. Some people have claimed that this has fixed their system entirely when they were out of warranty. It's a reflow trick, so try it if you want, but at your own risk.
 
Turn on the 360, and wrap it in about 4 or 5 towels. Make sure to block the vents nice and good (don't worry, it's safe). Turn the system on it's side, and leave the system running for about an hour (it will shut itself off, once it gets too hot). Unwrap the 360, and there should be 2 red lights flashing (overheating error). Turn it off, and turn it back on, and hopefully it should work just fine!
 
Mine worked about a week after doing this, but eventually, I had to send it to Microsoft for repair. But like I said, some people have reported this permanently fixing their system.
