Thanks for the feedback Douglas729. I too am very happy with my card once I found the correct BIOS.
Still hoping someone with a 3080 Hybrid from the factory would post their BIOS version. Would love to know if the one we are using from techpowerup (94.02.26.88.92) is the same version as the factory Hybrid BIOS.

I managed 18916 time spy on this vbios with 130 core oc and 700 mhz memory clock. Not stable in games most likely, but it is still higher than what I could do on air and with the air vbios on the hybrid.

Like all of you I also had the same issue with the update VBIOS provided by EVGA... I had worse performance than what I had with my XC3 Ultra's original vbios. Thanks to @fugly16 I was able to confirm his vBIOS and mine were different. And downloaded the same vbios from techpowerup and the card was behaving as expected but better because of the better clocks
Now with the new version of PX1 which addresses " Fix incorrect firmware being applied in some situations" It re-flashed the card to the same BIOS 94.02.26.88.92.
Did any of you also experience this? Perhaps PX1 knows the vbios is not provided by EVGA, what gives?

Hey Everyone just thought i'd chime in to this old thread in case anyone is looking for more power their their XC3 Ultra card I have a 3080 XC3 Ultra that I installed the Hybrid kit on and i'm using the FTW3 Hybrid bios. It seems to work normally but uses 380W playing games, not sure if this is OK, apparently some people want all the power they can get so maybe it's actually desirable. The exact Bios i'm using is 94.02.42.00.47 and I got it from EVGA - Cheers
