Can I use a simple phone charger brick to charge the mouse using the original wire? Its a 5v 1amp charging brick samsung and another is TLE.
Also How do I get the middle mouse button to be a battery indicator where in the manual it said it will flash red when critical battery but did not when I have all lights off in the software.

I ask as I hate unplugging the adapter from the dongle every time I wanna charge the mouse.

You might want to ask in a email, I could find no technical information on charging the x20 mouse

I agree with Cool GTX that it's worth sending an email into EVGA.

That said, since it does use USB-A for the connection so it should work fine with the USB-A standard cables. The only time I have really seen much problem with USB cable compatibility besides just the end of the cable not fitting has been some products that come with a USB-A to USB-C cable that say not to use USB-C to USB-C with them.

Went ahead and took the leap. Using an old Samsung phone charging brick with original mouse cable with 2.4ghz dongle plugged in PC and everything works perfect. Mouse stays usable when plugged into charger brick and charges. No explosions, yet

With a name brand like EVGA I wouldn't have really been worried about an explosion but instead not having the amps to effectively charge the mouse. The USB standard is pretty good about not having anything explode anymore unless you are using a no name brand USB product, charger or cable that doesn't fallow the standard. In my finding people who do have a problem normally went cheap on both the cable and charger. Since name brand quality products are not that expensive to begin with I just always look at them instead of the chargers and cables I could find at like a gas station.

Mine stopped accepting charge only after a few weeks with pretty much no usage.  Must have gotten a dud, but kinda sucks that there is this almost brand new mouse sitting on my desk gathering dust that can't be used because someone thought it would be a good idea to make mice with non-removable rechargeable batteries.

Hopefully in the future more devices will be made with consumable removable batteries

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

The warranty would cover a replacement if it's not charging and with a 3 year warranty I probably would just upgrade to a new mouse when the warranty expires.
