Hello, Check the Memory Temperature near the top of my screenshot. Seems awfully high? (Or am I just being a "longevity worrywart")? Regards, Nick 3070 TI FTW3 Ultra

Lol. Funny guy. Do a search on the subject, this is one of the most widely debated characteristics of this card generation and GDDR6X. That reading is the worst case internal temp of one chip. The 3070 Ti FTW3 has some of the best ram thermals of any Ampere GDDR6X card. What kind of load is that?

Both sides of the case are wide open. I'm undervolted at the [lowest] she will go without tripping "idle mode", which I found to be 0.806v. Power is only about 160 watts (out of a maximum of 325 watts). Also, I noticed ICX is reporting some really weird figures: (Notice PWR-3 and PWR-5 in this capture): Not to mention ICX MEM1 at 43c, while GPU-Z and HWINFO64 both showing 82-84c Or maybe a bad thermal pad contact at the bottom? What are other people's getting in ICX? Are there any tools I can use to undervolt the VRAM? (My 1080 Classy (which I replaced with this card) had one but it was released 3rd party & posted on Kingpin's own [now defunct] website)

What kind of load are you running and why the severe undervolt? 48C on the die is super cool under load. How are you getting your memory clock so high? 1431.5mhz in GPU-Z is like a +2200 memory overclock.

Looks like a mining configuration to me. Temperature-wise, nothing to worry about.

You don't mine bitcoins with a GPU.

It's funny that the people that are obviously mining are always so evasive and dismissive when asked what they are doing with the card. @ nrpeyton, we know what you're doing with the card, there is no other reason anyone would massively overclock their memory (yours is running at more than 22Ghz up from stock 19Ghz) then drastically reduce the TDP and core voltage of the card. Why not just be upfront about what you're doing? And no, your memory temps aren't even remotely close to being "wildly high"

Temps are well within spec. Set a static fan speed. It's normally tied to the GPU temps but the "load" you are running obviously isn't getting the GPU itself warm.

CraptacularOne It's funny that the people that are obviously mining are always so evasive and dismissive when asked what they are doing with the card. It's not surprising since the EVGA warranty calls out this type of usage as an example of unusual stress... - Any damages to the components, hardware and/or assembly of the Products including but not limited to damages caused as a result of neglect, abuse, accidents, misuse, or unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress (including due to uninterrupted use of the Products, or use of the Products for blockchain processing, cryptocurrency mining, or similar purposes).

I've seen gpu-z report high spikes on the memory for half a second then drop 4C afterwards on my 3080 TI. I recommend you cool the backside with fans blowing air directly on it. You should worry when you hit 95C or so. It will max out at 110C, but keep in mind water boils at 100C.

Yes, I've heard of people using the cards to prepare small cups of tea.
