I've decided to upgrade my 1GB GTX 560 Ti to a 4GB GTX 770. I've been really happy with EVGA's warranty support, so I'd like to stick with them.

Newegg has four different air cooled versions:

The differences in core and boost clocks are so small, I can't imagine a significant difference in performance. Is that the only cause for a $70 price gap? Does one run cooler and/or quieter?

One most expensive GTX770 on newegg is GTX770 Classified 4GB ACX (509$) they forgot to write that

I'm not sure but this model is nice if you want more video memory and save money, 4GB Superclocked

All ACX card are not loud and cool nice, all reviews confirm that, but Classified models are design for higher overclocking.
You can easier find something good inside, I mean better chip and PCB is better on Classified model.
I think 770 Classified have maybe same number of phases as 780 Classified, 12+2 - 14.

Thanks for the response. I was leaning toward the Superclocked, but I wasn't sure. I don't plan on overclocking, so it doesn't seem like the Classified would be neccessary. Something quiet is important since it will be in my bedroom, so it's good the Superclocked has the ACX cooler.

Always get at least the superclocked model. It's guaranteed to run at the speeds on the box which is already a very nice overclock, and can usually push even further. It normally only runs 5-10 dollars more than the reference design so the decision is pretty obvious in my opinion. Sure you could save the 5-10 bucks and play silicone lottery hoping you get a high overclocking reference design card, but I wouldn't put my money on it.

As for sound, you wont be disappointed. I run the GTX 780 ACX and the girlfriend has the GTX 760 ACX. Both are super quiet and run super cool. Both are using custom fan profiles via MSI Afterburner and never hit 60C during BF4 w/ Ultra settings. Fan speed at 55%

Than if higher OC is not interesting to you GTX770 SC 4GB ACX (04G-P4-3774-KR) is good choice.
That doesn't mean you can't OC over fabric clocks. You have even Dual BIOS (2).
It will be huge upgrade from GTX560. I saw results over net and GTX770 is noticeably stronger than GTX680 and HD7970.

I just picked up the SC 770 as well, just couldn't see spending the extra dough on the Classified.
