With that RAM, you're only getting two sticks which tells me its for a mainstream dual channel system.  You'll want to look for a quad channel RAM set.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

Biostar also released a "many PCI-E 1-bit slot" board recently, dunno if either is actually for sale yet (I think I've seen the ASUS on Newegg, but I don't tend to look at those boards).

Gigabyte released a 1x 16-bit 5x 1-bit board recently too, at $70 MSRP or some such.

I'm a little amazed it took so long for "mining boards" on recent chipsets to reappear, given the market for them is quite a bit wider this time around.

There are also folks making M.2 slot to PCI-E adapters (Futurebit of "Moonlander" fame among others).

Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding.
I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.

The mining boards and cards are destined for the Chinese market where the mining farms are. They aren't and probably won't be marketed or sold in the EU and North America regions.

ya... i just read an article about this board and i completely overlooked how to power 13x GPU's until they mentioned it. you'll need two 2KW power supplies for single 8 pin pcie powered cards... THAT IS INSANE!

Just look at all the Complaining New Miners here on the Forum.

(not yet sure if they will work under Windows though). (Taiwan apparently used Windows and had only 8 GPUs running)

You can only use up to 8 cards of the same type, like 8x 1070's and then 5x 1060's. It has something to do with how windows allocates stuff that sets this hard limit.

There are major mining farms that are in the US - most of them less than 50 miles from where I'm at.
It's NOT all about the Chinese, though a majority *MIGHT* be even outside of Bitcoin itself.
