Where can I get a type SJT C19 300V 12awg 105^c Power cord without buying a new psu, like can I buy directly from EVGA? I ask as I like to have spare cables in my computer hardware drawer at home. maybe it’s an ocd thing or something. :/

All im finding is c19 14awg 250v
Online Which I believe won’t work nicely with the pSU.

Q: What type of power cable do the EVGA 1600w G2/P2/T2 power supplies use?
A: The 1600W line of power supplies uses a heavy duty C19 type cable.

Q: What is the rating for my PSU wall cable? (with calculator)
A: Generally speaking, as long as your cable rating (in Amps) is greater than the max current drawn by your PSU model, you should be able to draw the necessary power for the system safely. Notice that the provided cables are rated in excess of the requirement as this will reduce concerns of heat during operation.

You can find them just about anywhere PC parts/accessories are sold (Newegg, Cables To Go, Tiger Direct, Walmart/Supermarkets).

That StarTech Model PXT101146 6 ft. 14 AWG Computer Power Cord - NEMA5-15P to C13 Cable will not work with the 1600 Watt PSU
    It uses this Type

    Not this type

bcavnaugh, sorry I did not check the PSU end.  It would seem that the wall outlet should have 1 vertical and 1 horizontal blade for 120 volt hot and a neutral with a round ground plug.  The outlet should match those blades and the house circuit breaker would be a 120 volt, 20 amp. unit.  That is assuming actual 1600 watts draw for the PSU.  If the draw is equal to or less than 15 amp, then in MHO your 15 amp circuit breaker Must be a Slow trip type to work with the almost 1600 watts. ( For me I would go with 12 AWG to avoid a pwr cord getting too hot.)
