I was told some cases have sag bracket mounting points. I cannot find any pictures of what they even look like :\ It would attach to basically a stick, that is coming from the back wall of your case or the bottom floor area.

if you look at the bolt pattern of the back plates, it matches up with that bracket.  where the other side mounts to?  only EVGA knows.  and they ain't talking.

I found this FAQ page describing how it works. I've also never seen such a thing.
    ...
Edit: I can't post links. Go to the EVGA FAQ (Under SERVICE) and look for "EVGA RTX 30 Series Support Bracket"

Ah. “Included with your EVGA RTX 30 Series is a retention/support bracket. Install this to the back of your card and mount it to your computer case if it supports the mounting points.“

Ok so either buy a case that supports it or make a makeshift bracket for it. 😬

I've never seen a case that supports that. Would be nice if they'd include a nice one like MSi does with their gaming x trio cards. Looks great and works perfect.

its at work and it is mainly for brackets and cover plates for our vehicles.  latest thing we made was a bracket to hold an air tank to the frame of our truck for the air helper springs.  camera brackets, light brackets, switch panels, or the odd holder for things is what we use it for.

Sell that as a service! Get the color matching to the side accent when we get the alternative colors in. Or maybe cerakote would work? I... think I might try and stormtrooper white the bracket with cerakote now.

That is a retention bracket designed to offer additional support for some select chassis. Note that most chassis do not support this.

Be relatively easy to hook something up to that bracket though, so still worth having. Thanks EVGA.

..Years ago I used a thin zip tie to support one of those monster CoolerMaster V8 coolers by zip tying it to a fan at the top of the case. It worked.

Oh and I have a photo of it on ModsRigs lol.. you can just see it at the top of the V8 cooler..   and the old EVGA 285 SSC cards in there - great card in its day.

Does this bracket comes with all 3000 FTW3 cards?

I don't see it on 3070 model, planning to buy 3070ti.

    It's called a: RTX 30-Series Bracket 59786.

Something to combat sag should be included, at least that transparent plastic type would do the trick, I guess.

That's what I thought. Thanks for confirmation. Shame for 3070 and probably 3070ti, it's missing already a backside EVGA RGB logo and a bracket, but not much less expensive than a 3080, probably have to cut corners somewhere.

Most motherboards will have generic screw holes for third party anti-sag brackets too.

Didn't see that on a MBO. I presume to combat sag due to big heavy cooler. Or are you refering to the PCB of the GPU?

I do not know what cases have support for this bracket, but I created the mount easily for my 3080 ti by myself from thicker aluminum band. I would not recommend use these cards without anti-sag as these heavy cards can be easily damaged - you can see numerous repair videos on YouTube - usually depends on memory chips locations, but often memory chips near PCIE slot are separated from PCB when sag is present.
