Recently purchased the Sager NP9371V (Clevo X370SNV-G) currently in my signature, but I just returned it due to extreme overheating issues, to the point I was physically burned (lightly). May have been an issue with thermal paste but it voids warranty if I repaste it myself, so I returned it instead of RMA while I was still in the 30 day return window. When I was resetting Windows so my data was removed, the overheating apparently caused a crash during Windows installation, and that locked up and apparently borked the drive. Smh. Once I have the credit for it, I will look for something else. Considering an ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 16 G634JZ-XS96, but concerned with ASUS crap service if anything goes wrong. Also purchased a pair of desert camo cargo shorts - weather's starting to warm up, time to put away the tactical pants lol.

The new 18" Scar? I looked at the 17" but that is basically last years model with updated CPU & GPU, and it has the older panel on it too. The Scar 16 has the new ROG Nebula HDR panel, and from what I have read, they are very very good. I think the 18" also has the new panel, and the option of a 4090 or 4080 as well?
