What are these plastic edge covers called and where can I buy any?
 
I tried googling "plastic edge covers" but nothing relevant came up.

    sometimes you can get the info from the manufacturer specs of whomever brand made the case.  Go to their website, look up the case and see if they are listed as a 'feature' .
     
    I've seen all different kinds of those edge protectors for all kinds of things.... such as ;

    This is more like what's on the photos with side slits to add flexibly.

    Very handy if the edge is Not rolled web search-->  sheet metal edge guard -Or- sheet metal edging
