KOOLANCE VID-NXTTN WATER BLOCK: Using an external Koolance EXOS integrated cooling system that has aluminum radiators. A unplated copper block is obviously out of the question and the EK plating tests on their blocks determined that specific coolants do cause corrosion of their plating. Koolance, on the other hand, specifically requires EXOS users to install their coolant that is also used on commercial cooling tower systems. So...., I speculate that their plated VID-NXTTN would be the most likely block for my system. Comments about Koolance GPU water blocks or alternative choices would be appreciated.

Koolance blocks are exceptional.  I have always used their blocks with their coolant, even though I have mixed ally, nickel, brass, and copper.  I have never had a problem and I only do a flush once a year.  I can't state as to the quality of the others but i know the Koolance block will preform like a champ(saying that due to past first hand history)!

So the full cover XXL blocks from EK are $180 not $150

No, they're $150. Once you add them to your cart and you show a shipping address in the US the VAT tax is dropped. The price for the block with the back plate is $149.34 each.

My computer finds cures for diseases and searches for aliens when I'm not gaming...what does yours do?

MMkay, not sure why they don't just drop the VAT when you change to USD

Then they hit you with $45 in shipping

I have already contacted Performance Pcs and they will be getting the XXL block in. I plan to buy it once it is available. The $45 shipping from EK is ridiculous.

Anyone try the XS-PC blocks yet? Also, been trying to find a place stateside that sells the backplates but no luck yet. I prefer to buy the blocks when the backplates are available.

Anyone know if the XXL titan block fits EVGA 06G-P4-2970-KR?  On the cooling configurator on EK's site it's greyed out.  Would prefer to cover the whole card if just to protect the PCB.

here are some pics of the EK XXL Titan Block installed. It is a sweet looking card. Preliminary results are fantastic too. While folding, on air temp was 73 C and on water now, it is 38 C.
