Okay so a little while back I was removing my hydro copper block to go back to air cooling on GTX 580 Classy.  I had put some rubbing alcohol on the GPU and let it sit for a few minutes to let it break up some of the paste still on it.  I got up went and got a drink came back a few minutes later.  Having a moment of forgetfulness, I started picking up the card and some of the alcohol ran through a screw hole.  A little bit of it got onto the warranty sticker and did cause some discoloration, peeling and it smeared the word "Serial" but everything else is legible.  I think it did that while I was dabbing it with a cotton bowl to absorb some of it.

I'm just starting to think about upgrading to a new GPU and was wondering if I voided the warranty or not in case I sell it.  Obviously not going to be mad at EVGA if I did but I'd just like to know so I can figure up a price accordingly.

    @thegardentool,

    Randolla, is correct.  If we can read the numbers then it should be fine.

    As long as you can still read the actual serial number and the sticker is still on the card.   I'm sure with making the forum post, you have a couple of pictures of it as well, keep these in case you need them in the future.  Lastly, if the sticker does end up falling off, hold on to it and keep it in safe place.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask or contact our 24/7 Technical Support Team @ 888.881.3842
