The EVGA GTX 1080 SC2 ICX has 2 stickers that has the serial number.

One is a larger sticker that says the P/N and serial number and it is attached to the backplate (1). The other is a smaller sticker that only has the serial number and is attached directly on the PCB just above the PCIe pins (2). There is also an EVGA warranty void sticker that holds the backplate (3).

My question is if the larger sticker that has P/N and serial number that is attached to the backplate (1) got removed, but the smaller sticker that only says serial number (2) and the EVGA warranty void sticker that holds the backplate (3) is still attached, is the warranty VOID?

Yes.. the big one on the backplate is the one thst matters.. why you ask? Hope you didn't buy a used card from someone without the big backplate serial number info.

There isn’t a warranty void sticker. The small sticker between the two backplate pieces is simply to let evga know the card was open.

Removing the big serial number/part number sticker is an issue.

The sticker that says "warranty void if removed" needs to remain on the card, as do all over stickers that are applied in the factory.

There is a piece covering a screw, this can be removed as we do allow removal of the shroud for changing of coolers however the original cooler would have to be installed should warranty service be needed.

    Everything is security.
