Was curious if anyone had experience vertically mounting their card in the Corsair 680x case? I'm bit concerned on sag, and wasn't sure if a bracket would help in this particular case, since it's sort of designed to support this orientation out of the box. Has anyone tried any specific brackets that help here?

Welcome to the EVGA Forums If you have the bracket that supports the PCIe socket .. should be OK If your case only hangs from the end of the card - I'd buy or make some sort of support

Thanks! Yeah, you can see through their own image, that they have it built in for vertical mounting, but it's just support on the end. Seems like it might be a good idea to try to build on myself, or find something that will work.

Just make sure you have good airflow on the back of any 3090 that's vertical mounted

Keep in mind that if you have a pcie 4.0 MB, a pcie 4.0 Video card but the riser cable is pcie 3.0 that you'll have video issues. Current work around is to change the 16x slot to run in pcie3.0 mode or to buy a new riser cable that supports 4.0

I will be exploring this when I get my Kingpin. A little worried about fitting a 240 AIO up top and the KP 360 up front. I currently have a 360 AIO up front and had to mount the 2 fans up top above the fan bracket as they don't fit otherwise. Engineering oversight IMO but Corsair says "Not all configs work". I'm hoping if the rad fittings are at the bottom, it will be fine up top. Otherwise, O11 DXL it is...

it's possible. I have a 360 up front and had the hybrid 240 up top. My RMA will be here tomorrow. I'll share pics when it goes back up. You have to get a bit creative with the top mount.

Nice! Thanks for showing it! I will try lines down first and then get creative! I see you can still do push pull with it vertical.

You can also do push pull on top with 2 fans outside the case and getting some spacers for the glass along with longer screws. https://photos.app.goo.gl/mMTLJayW2pmoebq49
