I’m excited! One person we know so far is in step 2, that’s good news. I hope we get “updated” cards. We all saw that Jayz video right?
There are at least 3, maybe 4 in this thread that have gone through up to Step 4, so it's definitely moving. Good stuff. EVGA doesn't have the issues mentioned in Jayz video. All retail cards are perfectly fine. It was the reason the FTW3 was delayed as they caught it before shipping it out. This info is coming from Jacob and has a thread in the 30 series card area.

OP updated. I don't think I'll include step 3 and beyond on the chart, as the latter steps depend on when the customer ships their card/shipping speed/shipping location/weekend vs weekday etc.

It was at step 2 on day of release. it wasnt me, so that kinda stings. but you know..."take that" and such. I get the feeling EVGA is working pretty hard at making all of our step ups a priority and that makes me happy to be on team EVGA.
Here's to us all getting our new cards sooner rather than later!

Yeah, we can thank 3090's launch date for that. The 3080 FTW3 Ultra release was delayed but at least we had the opportunity to step-up prior to release, which I believe has never happened before. It's all good. We'll all get it since production is really ramping up now. We'll all be happy soon enough and without the added anxiety of trying to purchase one in the wild.
