I registered my 3080FTW3 Ultra 10G-P5-3897-BR on 7/11/21 for RMA. I received the stepup email 10/20/21, paid that same night within an hour. They received my 3080 10/22/21 and my replacement was shipped the same day. Received it the next day 10/23/21, though I live about 30 mins from HQ so that may be why shipping was so quick.

Well Step two of five now waiting on approval got the email, applied for step-up February 26th 2021, Step 2 awaiting approval is 15 November 2021. How long does approval normally take these days? Would be nice to run out eastern time before the UPS or FedEx store closes and ship it out. Just got it paid now waiting on a I guess return RMA # Email. Guess I have to wait to ship them my card. I also got a step 2 notification for a GPU registered on the 25th of February. Waiting on step 3 now.

I was a bit worried when I read here that February, March, and May registrations were getting step 2 and that I had not received an email yet....so I checked my step up status and it gave me the option to submit payment!
Step 1 - March 10 2021 for my 3060
Step 2 - Not found in email
Step 3 - Not found in email
Step 4 - November 16 2021 immediately after submitting payment.
Step 5 - Pending
Check your step up status if you think you were supposed to get an email and don't see one!
For those of you wondering about the cost, the price went up on my step up page, I think it was quoted at 879.99 for the 3080 when I first registered and of coarse I knew that there were price increases on the card over the months, new price for a 3080 shows 919.99, I owed 611.78 to step up my 3060 to the 3080. Here is the breakdown I got:
New Product - $919.99
Original Product - $389.99
Step-Up Cost - $530.00
Shipping Cost + $10.48
Tax + $71.30
Total - $611.78
Here are a few more numbers for from the original purchase for fun and knowledge. 3060 12G-P5-3657-KR numbers
Subtotal - $389.99
Tax + $30.22
Shipping Cost + $13.35
10 year warranty - $40
Total - $433.56
That gives me a Grand Total of 1085.35 to get the 3080
This will be the most I have ever spent on a single computer part, previous personal record was my water cooled 980ti at 719.99 before tax.

I was in the exact same position, going from a 3060 to a 3080. The price increase for the one you're sending in wouldn't effect it because it's based on what you paid originally. This is the most I've ever spent on a single part as well lol. Hoping for longevity on it.

I finally received my 3080 on the 10th. Retail box a little crushed but everything seems ok so far. Wasn't as excited as I was originally a year ago, but I finally have it.
I think my final total was close to 1200 dollars spent for both cards including shipping and taxes, return shipping and taxes. Could've got a 3080ti oh well. Won't be buying another card anytime soon that's for sure.
I hope by then everything is back to normal. If not than we probably already in ww3 fighting over resources.
BTW what happens to step up cards? Are they resold as new cards? Surely they aren't recycled as e waste. Are they resold to system integrators like cyberpower etc., after testing and cleaning.

All Step-Up cards get put into the past initial its brand new RMA replacement "someone had a card long enough it needs a replacement under warranty but they had it long enough they do not qualify for a brand new card" pile, to B-Stock and sold at a below MSRP price with only a year warranty without any of the extra perks. No used Step-Up card by law cannot be sold or exchanged as brand new. So no Cyberpower to any system builder does not get used cards, they only get brand new ones be it OEM or Retail stock. Trust me they are not going to throw away or destroy used working cards, that is lost money.

Yeah the list really thinned out in January because around that time drops were rather small and slowed down almost to a halt cause of their holiday schedule across seas. You should get it. Who knows what the future holds for gpus. Slap it on a credit card with no interest rate for the first 6 months or a year. If your able to or maybe you can make payments through affirm, not sure.

At this point nope its going to come fast, it seems it took them a little more time to get to February as things sped up, now things are going lighting fast on the step-up.

Similar had my ship TO EVGA sit for an extra day "for no reason". I just assume all of the shipping is bad as he head into the holidays. I'm curious what the average actual "EVGA received" to "EVGA shipped it out" timeframe has been for people lately

Similar had my ship TO EVGA sit for an extra day "for no reason". I just assume all of the shipping is bad as he head into the holidays.
I'm curious what the average actual "EVGA received" to "EVGA shipped it out" timeframe has been for people lately
Honestly they took our money, they have our card, if the sent in Step-Up card is good the Step-Up card should be sent out immediately without delay. You know the whole you paid in full so give the person the product they basically paid for. After the long wait the estimated ship date is kind a big annoyance. Since money + product has changed hands after the long long wait for some. The whole up to three days to see if your card is ok for the upgrade is also a bit nerve wracking as the time it was not in our possession being shipped hoping it makes it ok. Well they did it, its shipped in the same day :o

Looks like EVGA reception is closed on Saturday... USPS: "We attempted to deliver your package at 11:27 am on November 20, 2021 in BREA, CA 92822 but could not access the delivery location" Step 1: 5/29/2021 Step 2: 11/16/2021 Step 3: 11/17/2021 Step 4: 11/17/2021 Step 5: 11/17/2021 Shipped 3070: 11/17/21 EVGA received 11/22/21 EVGA website says EVGA received 11/23/21 (took 1 day to scan & check) EVGA website Estimate ship date 11/26/2021...  Hope they will sent today before the Thanksgiving holiday... PLEASE...

Got my step 3 two nights ago (what great timing) but now I can't log into My Products properly to pay for it. It keeps logging me out. Best I seem to be able to do is get to the forums and post. Maybe.
