Hello.I am using 2080 Ti Aorus Waterforce + Aorus AD27QD.

Testing unigine superposition i am getting random 1s stutter all over the place. Without gsync is fine.

Can test somebody with gsync and check?

In games fine,Valley ok. Only in Superposition random 1 sec freezing only with GSYNC ON.

Never tried it with G-SYNC on. Most bench marking test programs give you better scores with G-SYNC off.
I have a EVGA RTX 2080 Ti Ultra Hybrid and I'll give it a shot with G-SYNC on and post what happened to me.

Ok thank you. With GSYNC ON there are 1 sec microfreezes during whole test. I dont know why. It happening only in Superposition with GSYNC ON. With GSYNC OFF is fine.

Re: Unigine Superposition - issue with GSYNC 2019/11/06 23:55:22 (permalink)
I ran all the test with G-SYNC on and got 2 or 3 micro-freezes too during the test.
1) At the beginning with the briefcase.
2) With the calculator.
3) With the big grey panel with the red lights.
These did not always appear in the same places in all the tests, but mostly.
I also got them with G-SYNC off too (but not always), so it maybe a buffering issue?
My PC is:
i9 7900x overclocked to 4.7 GHz.
4x8 DDR4 Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB overclocked to 3000 MHz.
EVGA X299 FTW-K motherboard.
EVGA CLC 280mm All-In-One RGB LED Liquid Cooler (2x140 PWM fans).
EVGA RTX 2080 Ti Ultra Hybrid.

Re: Unigine Superposition - issue with GSYNC 2019/11/07 00:10:55 (permalink)
It happens when GSYNC ON , with OFF i dont saw a stuttering maybe i was missed. Also i tried 441.12 and previous drivers and the same. It happens only in Superposition. In games and other benchmarks are fine with GSYNC ON.

So i think its benchmark issue and nothing wrong with system?

Re: Unigine Superposition - issue with GSYNC 2019/11/07 07:39:05 (permalink)
My wisdom tells it is a performance test that should not be held back by Vertical Synchronization, Advanced Micro Devices FreeSync or Nvidia's G-Sync and such screen enhancements should be turned off before a procedure intended to establish the quality, performance, or reliability of the hardware and drivers.

Side note, In case anyone uses Superposition that keeps the benchmark installed UNIGINE released a new version 1.1 earlier this year but I do not what was updated.

I get the same problem. Not a big deal though as you shouldn't be running any sync's when benchmarking.

Re: Unigine Superposition - issue with GSYNC 2019/11/08 03:09:52 (permalink)
Just bit worried, because somebody on Guru3d said:"It's working fine for me with Gsync and Vsync switched on.

Perhaps your GPU overclock isn't stable? Maybe try a different driver and/or use DDU driver cleaner?"

But its not possible about not stable gpu ,cause we both ( here in topic ) had the same stutters with gsync on :) :)

its fine , no further replies needed , thank you <love>

Re: Unigine Superposition - issue with GSYNC 2019/11/10 10:01:39 (permalink)
Sorry last question.

Sometimes i get app error Superposition.exe dxgi.dll error in event viewer. ITs sometimes when i exit GAME MODE or benchmark mode. Or when i alt tab to desktop and back again to test, it crash too with that error log in event viewer. But exiting is normal ,just that log same. No driver crash,by the way.
My monitor AORUS AD27QD. Desktop 1440P res. Benchmark/game mode / 1080p
Can somebody check? Please my last request :)

Weird why that error appearing in event viewer? Also Sajin can you run benchmark and ALT+TAB to windows and try to back to test again to see if.

Last question dear users. Promise :)

On version 1.1 no that errors. Also...

When i was on 1.0. There is GAME MODE too And i can walk with arrows in 1 scene. One time i alt tabbed from there to desktop and it crashed ( no driver crash ) app with dxgi.dll. I cant reproduce this anymore. Anyway no worries?
Or maybe i hitted ALT+F4 instead of ALT+TAB? I dont remember

Stress test passing fine.

Hey last question, REALLY :) . I ask somebody with Superposition v1.0 and on that version he no have that errors. So why i have them on 1.0v?

Sajin or anybody here, can you run benchmark ( max 5 times) ? Run benchmark, alt+tab to desktop and alt+tab back to test ,then it crash. And then on event logs if any error appear? Please !:)

Sajin

Its not showing because you must have many other programs installed and error not showing. I discovered that when i had RGB fusion installed that error was not showing on 1.0v ,lol weird. I uninstalled RGB Fusion ,clean system,no apps installed, and dxgi.dll was started showing on 1.0v.

Dont know why?! But on 1.1v no error, weird too.

Maybe it was something with res changing? TEST QUIT res changed and error in event log.
