I just got a 3080 FTW3 and I want to test its undervolting capabilities. As far as I know, X1 is what I should use over Afterburner due to fan asynchronicity (though maybe that has changed?).
With Afterburner, if you select a clock speed at a particular voltage in the curve and apply it, it automatically flatlines the rest of the voltage curve to match . In X1, if you select a clock speed at a particular voltage, it's only for that point and the rest of the curve doesn't follow so you would need to manually set each point beyond that one.
Is there a way in X1 to get it to match voltage like it does in Afterburner. Is there a way to set voltage curve in Afterburner and have that copy over into X1?

Below is the comparison. Set in afterburner how I want it, and when I switch over to X1, it has only changed the single point and I would need to manually change every point after it.

AB does not control all of the FTW3 fans

You can use X1 for Fan control, fan curve X1 must be running - or - set a fixed fan speed - apply, save setting then close X1 --- all while using AB for the voltage cure feature

I'm a bit confused on your steps. Do you mean:

    Option 1:
    1) Set custom fan curve on X1
    2) Check the "Fan Curve Control" option
    3) Apply on X1
    4) Close X1

    - Do I need to change anything in settings like "Start with OS", or "Apply previous settings on load". If not, does the GPU automatically save that profile and run it even when X1 doesn't run at start?

    Option 2:
    1) Set fixed fan speed
    2) Apply on X1

Same concerns above about how does this profile get set after rebooting.

Then on AF I'm leaving all the fan control settings on auto.

Regardless, is this something that can be added into X1? It's such a hassle juggling between two applications to undervolt.

    1) Fan Profile (curve) - Only works while X1 is Running

    2) Fixes (static) Fan speed % Can be saved to X1 & then X1 can be closed .... the Static fan speed will continue ... Not sure if it will survive a reboot ... it should .. test to confirm

X1 - Save any changes to a Profile number .. requires you to select the # 0-9, make your edit, use the apply button & then the save button

Both of those steps ["Start with OS" & "Apply previous settings on load"] - are required if you want a Profile (that you previously saved) to load on reboot

PSA ---> Do NOT have X1 start automatically until your sure you have stable OC settings ... you would not want unstable settings to load automatically & crash your system on reboot
