Hey EVGA Peeps,

I live in Australia and I really am looking forward to ordering at least 1 of these, maybe 2.

Why don't you guys send to Australia from your main distribution in Canada or USA?

You don't have any presence in Australia, there is 26 million plus people in Australia.

I bought an EVGA Signature GTX690 about 4 years ago and then I installed a Waterblock on it about 6 months later.

It cost me with the waterblock about $1,700 but unfortunately will not last me too much longer as we are looking at games that can use nearly 12GB now.

Looking forward to you guys releasing this and eventually taking Australia into consideration when it comes to sending your goods!

Cheers!

Well, after waiting around 6 weeks I decided to grab a couple of air cooled Titan X cards and water block them myself.  Although unlikely, there is a remote possibility that these cards are returned to air cooled duty in the future so some flexibility played into the decision.  My son is off to college soon and I may convert his PC to a much smaller air cooled rig.

At least you can get air-cooled ones, I have to pay about $1,200USD from price gouging trolls for each card if I do that.  By the time this thing is available I'm not going to want them anymore.

EVGA products come with international warranty so you can purchase from any country and ship to your city. I live in China mainland at the mo and purchased a Titan X off US amazon for $1103 delivered with shipping+tax included. There are even freight companies willing to help you export any legit products globally. So basically you can buy from any country including US/CA/AU/GB/DE/FR/IT/NL/JP/HK. There is always a way to cut off the middle man/trolls

It would be nice if we could get a solid answer instead of the "1-2 more weeks" answer we keep getting every other week.

I'm going to wait. It gives me more time to save up for the new build and since it's my first WC build, I'd rather not throw in the risk of screwing up blocking them. A hard date would make the wait easier though!

I got the notification email at 6:31pm CST that it was in-stock, at 6:46 PM CST it was out of stock/Auto-notifiy. This card is better priced than the 980 Hydro Copper($799). I'm waiting for the 980Ti before I make a purchase though.

So did I but they sold out, Bummer. Setup another Notify and wait for the next Batch.
BTW The GTX 980 HC is only $699.00 not $799 like Newegg and Amazon are adding a Hundred Bucks to the cost.

Never mind about a possible ETA. I've been waiting 4 weeks already and there's absolutely no word on why there is no stock of these cards.

Are they having quality / production issues or did they just underestimate their numbers?

Why doesn't someone from EVGA say something?

This'll be my first green card and I'm not liking the experience thus far!

NVidia makes the boards, and EVGA has to test the BIOS and settings on each of them, as well as EK making a customized block.  That is three different entities to get one product and the number of people wanting is much higher than the production capability.

EVGA doesn't comment when EVGA doesn't want to get hopes up and then drop them.

I don't expect nVidia, EVGA or EK to make any statements that would get mine or anyone else's hope up, but no one is saying anything about why there's no ETA. Why can't someone come out and just say "Hey guys, there's this and this going on, but we're on top of it and thank you for your support..."?

It's just too quiet, which leads me to believe there's something wrong, whether it be supply-chain, quality control or what ever.

I don't care, I just want to be able to make an informed decision about my order which I've already paid for; instead of waiting and waiting and hearing nothing but crickets...

Read through the forums when users DEMAND to know timelines.. there is rarely a response. This is not uncommon.

Like I stated, NVidia doesn't care to provide answers, and EVGA and EK may be having supply issues.  Emailing them DIRECTLY usually nets better results that posting on a user based forum.  Support@evga.com  Support@ekwb.com

You make it sound like I'm demanding and ETA (I'm not) and that I haven't already contacted EVGA (I have).

Still crickets...

I am not making it sound like you are doing anything.  I said, and I quote, "Read through the forums when users DEMAND to know timelines.."  Read that as you demanding, and that is on you.  The forums are full of people demanding things, and they don't get answered. No one but you has said anything about you demanding anything at this point.

Hopefully you can find something out.  Where did you order through, since most places don't process the charges until your item has shipped.

Exactly, and by doing so you addressed a "When?" question which I never actualy asked. Why would you do that when I've only ever asked "why?" there isn't an ETA? The answer to that question is a very different one. You started off well by saying that there were three entities involved, etc...

I hope so too, but my credit card statement says they already charged me on June 22nd. At that stage the delivery was at "1-3 days" which is why I placed my order with them as everyone else's deliveries were listed as being "2-6 weeks". A day later my order shifted to "2-4 days" and later that afternoon it went to "unknown". Since then all of the online retailers in Switzerland have their delivery now listed as "unknown".

My online retailer will only answer my "Why?" question by saying that it's not on them, because the importer has direct access to the delivery details listed on their (the retailer's) site and that it's very rare for the importer to list a delivery as "unknown". My persistant queries have now been forwarded to the product manager who hasn't replied as yet.

I'm also only being offered the possibility of cancelling my order. In that, they say it 'may' only be 'possible' to cancel my order at this late stage and that they'd have to first inquire about it.

I just got word from EVGA Switzerland and they say that their delivery delays are because EVGA cannot keep up with the world-wide demand for the Hydro Copper version.

So I guess the availability of the cards used for the Hydro Copper version is essentially what the problem is here, because the EK water blocks as well as the standard and Super Clocked EVGA cards are available here (or will be soon as they have ETAs).

Update: the ETA on their website has just changed from "unknown" to 2-3 weeks.
