The only thing i changed in the BIOS is ERP mode to on, so that usb ports would not stay powered up.
Now, it takes three pushes of the power button to start the PC.
Anyone else experience this?

I also tried using the Power button on the MB to see if it was the button on the case that might be the problem.
Same result, three pushes.

That's very odd.  Not sure if there's maybe a bad ground somewhere or something triggering it as so so at least you know its not the case wires.

I have a Z97 board and use ERP, instead of pushing/ tapping the power button I hold it "on" and watch the LEDs on the MOBO. When they light up it will boot normally, otherwise for me it's a 2-3 button press to get it to boot. Almost like a hard boot, but with the power already off----if that makes any sense.

Hey Theo, notice you have the 1000P2 like Scott tested with, it had the start delay. That would be odd for sure. Nice job scott, for going through all the footwork!
