Saw on twitter EposVox using a new Threadripper to place 4 Corsair 2 TB MP600's in RAID. Impressive speeds for his editing rig.

    Some of the new Threadripper motherboards come with a PCI-E card which can hold 4 M.2 SSDs. With 4 of those m.2 SSDs in RAID the speed with PCI-E 4.0 should be outstanding.

    Excellent scaling on the sequential read/write speed. I can't imagine the video bit rates he's working with to make full use of that.
     
    I get about 3x the 4K read speed on a $150 Optane 900P U.2 over M.2 adapter and chipset PCIe lanes as a OS drive.  Apples and Oranges.
