So my computer case for my custom build is a Thermaltake case but for some reason it says "powered by EVGA". It doesn't seem they are a subsidiary company, so why is there this seemingly random cross-brand promotion?

Is it an EVGA case badge perchance?  Makes no difference whatever, it was stuck on by someone else, not Thermaltake.  I'll let you make the inference what that means.

Did you buy this case secondhand? Perhaps it was put there by the previous owner since they had some EVGA parts inside?

Yeah it looks like a badge but it was a brand new case. And I never put it on there lol. Strange indeed.
