Yeah I wish they would come up with a way to separate the two make some for specifically for gaming and some for mining so are you can't use it for vice versa

Everyone is mining with them inflating the price. I bought my 1070 new for $400 now I can sell it for $750.

Just introducing myself to the forums. I've purchased EVGA cards for my compact gaming rig /media pc a few years back and loved the styling and workmanship. And was happy to see it's one of the manufacturers whose 1080 Ti cards will fit in the Razer Core (which I got for a discount.) So I'm on the waiting list to pick one up when they're available before a scalper does!
I'm a semi casual gamer that's got dun' bit by the VR bug.. And now, after binge watching it, The Expanse.. bug... which got me wanting to play Elite Dangerous VR (the closest thing to The Expanse in a VR game?) so I'm wanting to upgrade my 1060 laptop to a 1080 Ti... Annnd... of course it's the worst time to try to upgrade my card with all the crypto-mining out there. But here's hoping.

Hi! I'm a VR sim-racer (iRacing) from CA, amongst other things… like a skier! (Just got back from Tahoe!) I built my rig about 18 months ago and it seemed great then, but with VR it's a little lacking. Need some upgrades! :)
