HOLY SMOKES!
This card is incredible! Got the DT-770 Pro 250 Ohms today for a first use/first listen and I'm not sure if I'm crazy in the head.. but the first reaction to some wav's/flac's and sound in general was laughing of joy with a big grin on my face.
NEVER heard such a good sound. Till now I've only used 'Gaming' headsets like the HyperX Cloud2 or the Logitech G Pro X or similar - but the DT-770 in
combination with the EVGA NU Audio Pro is just breathtaking

Awesome product from EVGA!

I just had a new desktop PC built with a EVGA Nu Audio Pro installed. Simultaneously, my Sony MDR Z1R premium headphones arrived. Talk about a match made in heaven!

I've never heard computer-based audio sound this sweet.

Very curious how it would sound like with such a pricey/high-end combo.  What do audiophiles use when it comes to file formats? FLAC/WAV? Is there anything else to pay attention to - to get the best possible listening experience?

While I only use the NU Audio I have to say I was really not expecting it to sound as good as it does. Really crisp and clean audio without feeling artificial like some other audio cards do.

I studied this card for awhile before buying. The specs are more than sufficient to adequately drive my "pricey/high-end combo."  I've never felt the need to spend thousands on a DAC/AMP, when a card like the EVGA Nu Audio Pro has the features and specs I need. Instead, I'd rather spend my hard-earned cash on a superior headphone.

I use FLAC, WAV, and DSD files exclusively. My audio player is the JRiver 26.  There are some good players out there for cheaper or free (Foobar, for example).  I disable all equalization/DSP and go with an unmodified, "bit-perfect" signal as much as possible.

I consider this my "end game" setup. I have no need to improve on anything else, as it sounds perfectly fantastic to me.
