What regular PS are you planning on using? With that modular cooling system only pulling a max 49W could you not run it off the 12V rail of your regular PS? Nevermind, I'm sleepy and had a brain fart.

Well it looks like will have to take down one of my X79 Dark and my last X79 Classified Rigs to get a Power Supply. They both have a 1300G2 and both rigs have lost a graphics card one Titan that is in now in for an RMA and one 1080 FE that I need to remove the Water Block and put back on the FE Cooler and send it in under an RMA. Not a good year as far as failing hardware. I guess for electrical cost the Titans cost the most to run.

You have an Internal Rewriter in post 11. Wouldn't an external USB 3.0 rewriter save you some room?

Cost is almost two times the cost for a BD-RE Internal Drive Link but yes it would save space. But I do have one for my Laptop I could just use it. But then I cannot show the Need for 5.25 Drive Bays Also the BD-RE Drive above I got on sale for only $29.95 but it looks like it is back to $49

Bummer, having issues with A Corsair 1200AX & 3 Different EVGA 1300 G2 PSUs not staring this MB Combo. So none of my 3 EVGA 1300 G2 (120-G2-1300-XR) Power Supplies would work on this Motherboard for what ever reason.

Will be interesting to see if the temp drop potential results in any measurable improvements in your results: 3DMark, crunching, folding

My first round of Crunching will run PrimeGrid using MX-4 and see how much lower they are from what I now have using LM only on Top of the IHS and under side of the Water Block. I have not Delided the CPU yet so I am hoping to see at lest a -20C difference with only using MX-4. If I do not get at least -10C Per Core Drop I will give LM a go along with some #422B or #419C that I now have in a test mode on top of a Water Block. My fist test one side Crystallized and I did not have it marked well so this round I have it marked.

So it looks like the Compound on the Top of the Block is Not want you want to use. The Compound on the Bottom is what I will go with on the CPU PCB. The Top one with a Q-Tip would stick but the one on the bottom with a Q-Tip would not stick all.

A Good Video for review of the Der8auer Skylake-X Direct Die Frame FSD8-021 Also this is a good Video to watch when it comes to the CPU Socket in General. Things like the 4 Corners are Higher than the Center as some members have complained about and More.

Not sure I like the LM and may not use it on the CPU Die, On the IHS Maybe. I think I will go with MX-4 for now on the CPU Die. It seems to Crystallize and Evaporate, their was NO LM to Really Clean off the IHS or from the Water Block of the above.
