And if you've been gaming for more than 5-10 years, you get a mediocre understanding of how hard that is and the required computational power... The hard shadows explanation immediately made me think of Neverwinter Nights.

Oh no, they put a DP on top of the other ports. No single slot water cooling. 
The 1080 Ti was the same; EVGA still made the K|NGP|N Hydro Copper cards single-slot. They can do the same with this; change the DisplayPorts to mini DisplayPorts and put them, the HDMI, and VirtualLink port all on the same row. EVGA: here's hoping pleading for a single-slot Classified Hydro Copper 2080 Ti!!!

Doesn't this price range set by Nvidia hurt AIB partners? I mean how much higher are they going to go where gamers run to other avenues for gaming like AMD, console or lower tier GPUs.
At the price range most of us are about to spend, should be getting a Kingpin or a Titan but it's just a base reference Ti. Crazy times.....

Not a Titan. With the Titan V, it's pretty clear that the Titan brand has been moved to the professional market space with the Quadro.

Yeah really! People are getting so hung up on the 2080 Ti's price, that they're not realizing what I said already AND that even the 2070 outperforms the Titan Xp by a large margin. You don't even have to go with the high end of the 20 series to see large improvements!
