Looks good Rj, not too gaudy and not too understated. Just gotta get your card's RGB to play nice with your case theme now :P

Sadly it won't sync with Corsair iCUE. LOL!

I was on the fence with this case but ended up with the Dynamic XL.

I love the pink lighting contrasting against the cyan EVGA. Couldn't have planned that better.

Ive been thinking about updating to this case with a closed loop when 12900 comes out.

I have the Corsair 5000X RGB. It's a beautiful case, no denying that, however if you're going to build with an EVGA Z590 board, be aware that there is very little space between the bottom of the motherboard and the PSU shroud - probably the least I've ever seen in any PC case - and because the Z590 boards have the 90° headers, there is no way I could attach the front audio jack, and some of the fan headers at the bottom were also blocked (one user managed to get a couple of fans connected, but the wires were severely crushed and I'd be concerned about them shorting). The only way around it is to attack the case with a dremel, but it's going to be very visible. Also the cutouts/grommets to the right of the motherboard are positioned in such a way that with the Z590 FTW, the 12-pin atx cable and front USB cable (which are also 90° headers) are difficult to route - you have to do some serious bending of the cables to get them through the holes.

If you're building with a motherboard that doesn't have 90° headers, you'll be fine.

As a result, I have ordered the 7000X RGB case and am waiting on it to be shipped. The 7000X gives 3" more in height and a little over 1" in depth (front to back) which makes all the difference. The width is almost the same, just a few mm more. The 7000X is expensive, but that's mostly because it includes a custom Corsair Commander Pro, which is usually ~$75 by itself. The case itself is very similar looking to the 5000X, at least the black one. It also has a hinged tempered glass main panel at the side which is a huge bonus imo, compared to the 5000X with has to be removed with some thumb screws.

I really love the EVGA 90° headers, so much cleaner looking, just a shame the 5000X case isn't as compatible as it could be.

I'd really like the 7000X RGB case simply because I can install a Corsair 420mm AIO in it.

Thats an awesome case and build..... I just got the 5000d airflow for my all EVGA build for MODS RIGS. This case is enormous cant wait I have two packs of three corsair fans for the front and side and have the EVGA CLC 360 for the top and the new i9 10850k I just got for the EVGA FTW Z590 and the EVGA 850 PSU and then the icing on the cake the EVGA FTW3 3080TIE and the EVGA Z15 keyboard to accent it all would love if everyone checked out my current mods rigs on the left panel under my name and if you like it vote its still has last touchs to do for the lettering thanks everyone.

I just bought a 3090ti, z690 classified, and this 5000x case, but I can't fit the 3090ti without removing that large fan / cable tray cover. The 3090ti hits it and won't go down into it's socket. Did you have any trouble fitting the 3090ti in this?

I also can't install the cable into the USB 3.2 gen2 riser on the z690 that faces upward without it hitting the fan / tray cover.

Not super happy with this case, and I'm wondering if others also see this??

Strange. I just bought an RTX 3090ti FTW3 Ultra and it fits without problems. Can you take a picture of your 5000x?

Just took one. How do I post images here?

I already had to remove the whole tray, and no matter what cable configuration I tried, I also could not use the HDD bay. It won't fit unless it's loose inside the case.

Thanks. I'm on mobile and I don't have 'font size' or other features. I'll switch to my desktop in a bit.

I've already finished the build, actually. There is literally no way to install a 3090ti into that case while using the fan tray cowling unless you buy the vertical GPU adapter, or you remove the cowling. I've done some research elsewhere online, and many others also must remove HDD bay and fan cowling to finish their build.

I will upload a pic I took of the problem while it was installed that way. Will upload shorty.

Take a look. It is clear that:
1. the tray fan cowling cannot be used along with the z690 classified USB 3.2 gen2 header
2. 3090ti is too long to fit along with the cowling.
I didnt bother taking a pic of the HDD cage issue. It clearly wont fit along with a supernova 1000t2.

Sorry for the google photos link, I dont use imgur.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/uEPLmtWiFa9K54LT9

Edit: you can see in the photo where Ive removed the fan cowling, the edge of the 3090ti is beyond where the cowling extends.

It's what appears to be a proprietary riser connecter, with a t block shape. I may try to use an exacto knife to shave very small amounts of plastic off the side of the plug.
