The Clash of the Titans: An X99 Tale!
There once was a custom-built PC,
from nearly 7 years past.
It was an excellent machine for some time,
but as with all good things, they never last.

It was adorned and upgraded with the best,
for the sake of being different from all the rest.
But as the days, months and years went by,
the beloved PC, met games it could not even try.

Until one day, it came across a Titan named, Black,
the two united to bring the new games back.
The games were nothing short of splendid in 4K,
the frames, smooth, 'tis truly was a new day.

Then the next month, Black's cousin joined the fun,
he simply could not allow his cousin be the only one.
So the cousins from the Clan Black came by,
to join forces with Team Green in SLI.

The games were simply amazing with this team,
the backlog, tremendous on Steam.
With this team, a game unplayable on Ultra, there was not,
but with all this fun, everything in the kingdom became hot.

Until one day, a strange new part had arrived in the land,
something this aging PC could never have seen beforehand.
It had all sorts of new features and babbles,
all new wondrous gadgets, but alas, it was not compatible.

But then a second part arrived, a third and a fourth,
at this point, the legendary PC began to question its worth.
Within the land, peace broken, a battle was brewing,
with an epic clash of Titans ensuing.

The combatants assembled and the forces began staging,
Would the legendary PC hold up despite the years of aging?
The saga of Titans began within the last two years,
with each designed to maximize gaming and allay all fears.

But emerged a tremendous new Titan, named "X",
only to be made better through water, was next.
So just that, the god of gaming, EVGA did,
molded a new Titan X from the goddess NVIDIA and named it Hybrid.

Framerates were tested as the GPUs collided,
a once peaceful kingdom, is now a land divided.
The Clash of Titans in the conversation of all,
with countless speculations of which Titan would fall.

But in the end would the numbers even matter,
as the Class of the Titans, made all mad as a hatter.
The new components made for a formidable new seed,
but it lacked the wisdom and the character of the aging PC.

In the end, however, the new breed must rise,
in its matte black carbon, a diamond in disguise.
"Respect for our ancestors", the new champion proclaims,
but after the battle, only the new X99 and Titan X Hybrid remains.  The End.

Everything is excellent except case, but that's personal taste and we can't complain.
Hardware is incredible. TITAN X Hybrid. My dream. I believe unboxing that monster was something special.
CORSAIR H110i GT and TITAN X Hybrid are perfect together.
You forget only one thing EVGA Sleeve kit, Black color.
TITAN Black was nice too, I made huge mistake because I didn't bought one last year and I had excellent chance.
Looks like ASUS don't want to launch Extreme Black Edition... they will launch, two weeks after my upgrade.
    Usually is always like that.

Thanks for stopping by Vlada!  Yeah, cases are definitely a personal taste.  I was originally going with the Corsair 900D, but I had read too many complaints about the build quality.  Though the Cosmos II is not as formal as the Corsair 900D, the far majority of the reviews I have read spoke highly of the build quality.  And the reviews are 100% correct.  I cannot emphasize enough how well this case is built.  It is constructed to withstand a nuclear fallout.  I cannot wait for Fallout 4 by the way.  Yes, as you mentioned, the next upgrade will be the EVGA sleeve kit and perhaps a 2nd Titan X Hybrid once the [2] Titan Black SSCs are sold.

And you are 100% right.  Make sure to wait as long as you can before you upgrade.  I swear these companies know when we build and then launch new products two weeks after.

No they will not launch two weeks after I my upgrade but they will show pictures or teaser and that's enough.
But never mind, R5E Black will be over 500e and that's too much.

Yes.  If released, an Asus R5E Black would definitely be over $500.  I was lucky with my R5E/U3.1 though.  I was able to get an R5E/U3.1 for $420 at Office Depot with a competitor coupon price match.  Then that is what started eventually started the new build.  Originally, I was going to use all of the new parts in my old case, but after some debate, I decided to just start fresh.
