...from the NVIDIA GTX 690 press release picture below; I don't know if i'll ever have a need or desire to move to quad-SLI down the road, but i'd sure like to know where/if we can get our hands on one of those sexy SLI-bridges....you gotta love that matching design. They not only went all out on the design of the card itself, but DAT SLI BRIDGE! Please NVIDIA, make it available, or EVGA...ask them if you can resell these bad boys!!!

Shouldn't it work with any SLI'd cards? Like even 680's? Nothing special about the connectors right? Just the nice looks.

I don't see why it wouldn't work with other cards. I was merely commenting about the sweet, matching design with the 690...but yeah. There shouldn't be anything special about it, but I could be wrong, since they're using the PLX PCI-E 3.0 bridge chip on the 690 to link the two 680 cores internally, as opposed to the NF200 of past dual-GPU models...

Yep true, I bet it'd work also. Man I'd love to mod one, paint it all black, with some red paint on the NVIDIA lettering :p

I'd get two...one to keep its original design, and one to mod just like yours would be, except replace red with blue, since my rig is a black-and-blue color scheme...

Yes Please....That nice bridge with a nice backplate and high flow bracket would make the 690 perfect!

Yeah, i'm really hoping EVGA hears this plea to ask Nvdia to sell them or heck...come up with their own SLI bridges... :)

Yes, get 2 so you have a backup.  LED lighting/logo on it would be even better.

Nice looking bridge, but it seems like you need a specific gap distance between two cards which could potentially be a little problematic...

Can't see them selling this as you need a specific gap. Thats way flexible SLI bridges are popular as you have a choice if you want 1-4 slots in between each card.

They would have to sell multiple version and I bet only a few hundred would buy them so it wouldn't be profitable without a huge markup.

Then again if they did sell this and you were rich enough to buy 2 690's than you certainly should be able to buy the right motherboard for it to work.

If you look at how thick it its, you could assume that there is a flexible SLi bridge inside the shell, which would allow for different sized gaps. That is just my hypothesis.

Functionality over looks. I don't care what it looks like as long as it works.

I'll stick with the normal SLi cables.

I don't see this one coming because of the variations of SLI configurations
