Well, that just sucks! Why does EVGA need approval from NVIDIA to make a stupid SLI Bridge anyway? My point is that it's simply a low cost accessory that would be more less aesthetically pleasing to many. Simply because the current version that has been out for years now lacks in design and there for has no SWAG!!!!

Fact: EVGA needs to take the seek to understand approach and listen to their customers request.

Fact: If the product is ever released make sure to "engineer" the product so that it will work on all NVIDIA based SLI ready graphic cards the same way.

For example:

- Support for PCI Express 2.0 and 3.0
- LED controller software support
 - Firmware updates has needed

I agree with you, Digital_trans, but I doubt it will be a low-cost accessory. As much as I would like to have one I am afraid the cost would be too rich for my budget.

Cost could broken down by 3 versions of the new NVIDIA SLI bridge. For example, mid-grade would not include lighting or LED controller software support. It more less would be aesthetically pleasing but without any light source. In addition the three versions could be made to support: SLI, Tri SLI, Quad SLI.

Premium Grade would have all the love and charm one would need for the price. Including lighting from green to retro blue on black. Finally throw in some carbon fiber dark nano skin for kicks just to look sporty. In addition the three versions could be made to support: SLI, Tri SLI, Quad SLI. If EVGA could think for it's self then maybe one day it could be done and sooner then later.

I always hated those flimsy ribbon connectors. I finally got a rigid SLI bridge with this ASRock motherboard. If I wanted to be creative I could go to a hobby shop and buy a block of balsa wood, sand it to shape, paint it and then slap a EVGA sticker on it. Lights might be difficult but not impossible. Just a thought.
