Welcome to the Forum
What happens if you turn off the TV and only have the DVI in use?
What EVGA Model is your Geforce GT 730 Graphics Card?
Is the "onboard Intel (Haswell) GPU" Disabled in the Bios?
Is the Bios on your MSI Z97 motherboard Current?
What is your OS?
Being that old of a GPU is your Bios set to UEFI mode or Legacy BIOS-compatibility Mode for the Graphics?
What CPU Model do you have?
What Power Supply do you have? Make Model and Age
What Other PCI/PCIe installed Devices do you have installed, like a Sound Card
When did this "System BIOS screens shown split across monitors" start to happen?
Can you post an Image of what this looks like?
- It happens the same with just one output in use, so I think split is not the right description, its more like the bios menus dont fit in the screen (I said split because when booting Windows the boot screen -the blue Windows squares and the circling dots- are actually split across both screens, but the bios screen is actually like only 1/4 of the bios menu is displayed, the same in both screens when connected together)
- The model is I believe 02G-P3-1733-KR (according to the purchase history).
- The onboard graphics is enabled, but it only happens when the EVGA is set as the primary (hence the one where the bios is displayed). I'll try with it disabled again but I think I've already tried that before...
- Motherboard's BIOS is the last one available.
- OS is Windows 8.1 setup in UEFI mode.
- CPU is Pentium G3258, PSU is Sharkoon, no other PCIe devices (I'm sure those got nothing to do with this...)
- It always happened since using this GPU.
I believe this is related to the EVGA video BIOS, there is probably some bug in the UEFI GOP driver that makes the motherboard's BIOS menu display at the wrong size/resolution. Like I said it doesnt happen with the onboard Intel BIOS...
Here is a GPU-Z capture:
Here's a picture of the TV screen (taken with the cellphone...):
When accesing the GOP settings on the motherboad's BIOS I can choose between 2 outputs, but both are labeled DFP0 and choosing either makes no difference...).
