I've tried gas stations, fast food, etc. Oh yes I've tried. I still am, In fact i'm on indeed looking up some stuff in Indiana, may go there if my car is fixable. I've done more trying than you could ever shake a stick at. I've failed more than that too. But I keep trying, and yet, those with jobs complain until the company itself dies out. Must be nice to complain about the job you have, when so many out here need a job! Now sure, if I didn't have some things in my life to deal with I could get a job a bit easier, but unfortunately I cannot. So don't assume to know all of the facts! Your going to be wrong if you do :)

-Now they won't even be able to collect unemployment because they were on strike.

Of course! If someone takes 5 minutes of their day to make a post on EVGA.com's forum, it means they aren't trying at all! I'm sure he's lying for absolutely no reason whatsoever! I'm also 100% certain that he literal is saying that he would kill for a job right now. I know I've never encountered someone using that phrase in a less literal sense.

The point of the post was to say "You have to really try to get a job, if you're really in need of one."

I worked my living butt off trying to get a job in Vegas, and I ended up getting a job at the most obscure place in the world.
There are only 67 of us that i know of that work at our subsidiary, and a total of 680 have ever worked there including administration.
 
I wasnt poking at anything other then the fact that you were dragging out a point longer than it should be.
A bunch of hostess employees just lost their job, And everyone of them has a serious reason to find another job.
Sometimes you REALLY have to dig deep.
I'd have NEVER found my job If i hadn't dug as deep as I could into the dirty looking for something.
Hell you could even dress up as a pretty boy and try to get a job and a Nail salon if you wanted too.
I'm not saying its easy, but you really have to try for it.
If i was on the chopping block, I'd be avoiding distractions and trying to figure out how to get employed.
 
Some of you might remember that I was picked up unconcious on the side of the road, after daily riding a bike down the high way trying desperately to find a job in a city 13miles away.
I nearly killed myself trying to find a job.

So much greed these days, they all should be greatfull they werent working for min wage and had a regular hours jobs.
 
I just started back to work after almost 4 months, found out what real stress was, when ya cant pay ur bills or putting food on the table for me and the wife, we were pretty much living on rice,beans and oatmeal for  a month, before we got help. And at least we had that to eat!

Im thinking you miss understood me, wasnt my intentions. Just saying, they should of been greatfull.....

I drove to Oklahoma to try and get work. Came close but ehh. Back IN Ohio *cries* lol. But heck with it, I'll put on the brave face, suck it up cupcake and continue on as always. I suppose I could reach out further than Columbus, maybe look in Dayton, Etc. My GF would kill me though if I left again...and I don't know if I could break her heart and do it either...damn i'm a softy.

Of course, yeah.  I mean, the business owners have rights to 100% of the billions of dollars of revenue each year, after all.
 
What do the workers actually making the product get off thinking they are owed anything at all?  They should be thanking their masters just for the opportunity to make products for them, amiright?  Ingrates...
