Still a rock solid setup with Cascade Lake X and 64 gigs of Dominator Pl 3600 Cl 16 .  Run all cores at 5ghz idle around 42c all cores, max near 72c near 84 full load.
Using the 420 rad I170 Corsair.  Toyed with 5.1Ghz, half the cores on cpu, but strange, is it did nothing to performance with Aida, Cinebench or even Geekbench.
No adnormal heat throttling, or drop in cores speed.

Is this platform capped after 5ghz??  Seems things like 5Ghz, 3600ram.  but when changes are made to ram or cpu, it hurts performance.  Strange being how stable it is
at the speeds with tight timings too.

Which CPU model exactly, though? What are your AVX offsets like and did you test under AVX load?

So long as your happy with it there is no need to upgrade.

running a 10920x at 5ghz all core, and avx offset of 3. Seems solid, but if i up the oc to 5.1, or 5.2 on main cores, it does nothing for
benchmarks, Ipc is the same from 5ghz and on.  I suppose its a deminishing return.
