So, how many NN-13 Neutron guns can I put on a 325a?

And, feedback on the F7A/F7C Hornets?

And the Gladiator?

I don't know, the Voyager Direct store shows size but not class for some reason.  If it's class 1, then 3.  Class 2 then only 1 on the front.  Class > 2 then 0.

Edit: The store says it's suitable for the 300 series so I'm going to assume it's at least 1 then.

From reading, Im still learning, it looks like, the NN-13 Neutron is in the nose. I was also wanting a set of heavy cannons on the wingtips, not lazers.

Wondering about the difference between the original Hornet and the newer model.
I also watched the stream not live, but over the weekend, and I enjoyed it.  They actually redacted the Happy birthday song which was impromptu because one of the employees bdays was on the Star Citizen anniversary.

The new bombers look great as well, although not really my style, never was into the Broadsword or Longbow in WC games  :)  Interesting, one of the business/group types you can make is a cult, that cracked me up.

Where are the specs and pics of the Hornet 7AC ?  Am i missing it somewhere.
Also did anyone notice that the Advanced Hunter option of the Avenger is its own game package ?
Think im going to melt down my $60 Avenger, and upgrade it to the full package, just in case something comes up and i gift it to someone.
So for $15 more its a complete package.. got to like that !

It may be worth upgrading to a package for the extra character slot too.

If anyone wants there is a file for the Hornet F7R (racing variant) that has been broken into. There is also WingMan hanger episode tomorrow that rumors will have you believe the hornet variants and may be constillation variants will come out.

Guys, I love you all but I honesly have no Idea what's going on. Granted there were sooo many pages of forums to read to I skipped to the last page to see if I could get a grasp of what the H*** anyone was saying. Bottom line: No idea.
I love me some space sims but havn't played em since xwing alliance on a dialup with my friend who kept beating me with a Tie-interceptor because he cheated and put his handicap all the way up...

- What I gathered so far: New Space sim with amazing graphics (I saw pics).
- What I haven't gathered so far: Free to play? Purchase upgrades optional? Oculus Rift compatible?(if so, ill wait till the Rift is retail to buy the game), is it even out yet?, Beta?, and why haven't I known about this?

A link to a video or a good read would be greatly appreciated  (and no, don't tell me to read through 18 pages of forums to find one, lol)

Free to play?
No subscription requirement, but you need to buy one pledge package in order to purchase the game client. I personally suggest the Digital Mercenary $40 package because the Digital Scout $30 doesn't include alpha and beta access.

Purchase upgrades optional?
Yes, optional. Everything they have as add-on ships you will be able to earn in-game once the persistent universe is enabled without pledging for extra ships. They merely have those add-on ships to raise money for development at the moment.

Oculus Rift compatible?
Yes, will be Rift compatible. CIG is working directly with Crytech in implementing it. It's not yet in but will be.

Is it even out yet?
Sort of. They are releasing things in modules -- hangar, dogfighting, social/planetside, fps/ship boarding, Squadron 42/single player, persistent universe. All these modules will be rolled into the client as things develop. Currently only hangar module is available.

Beta?
See last answer.

Why haven't you known about it yet?
Because they're not burning millions on a traditional publisher to brute force marketing to general public. The game is 100% crowd funded and is using grassroots viral marketing to get the word out. They're spending all their money on development, not wasting half of it on marketing budget.

Or for $45 you can get the "fully loaded" Aurora package with alpha/beta access.

Brad and I (and many others here) have been following this since nearly day 1.  There is a LOT of great stuff, including history etc.  I recommend giving yourself an hour (no idea how fast you read :p ) and read through this entire thread, there is a lot of good stuff here.
Also, make an account with RobertsSpaceIndustries, from there you can support and also read  lots of other background stuff.  Don't know how into lore and back story you are, but there are a few fully developed stories, that give you universe insight, as well as the feel of the game and its universe, and thy are good reads as well.  Also, once in you will get your weekly update from them as well, with lots of various great stuff, honestly, I could gush about this for hours, but read and sign up if you are interested.  Remember this is the brain behind Wing Commander, so we can count on something great!

**EDIT**
One last thing, this is a PC Game, not a console game with a PC port., has stated he is making support for multiple inputs form KB/mouse, to xbox controllers, Oculous Rift, Surround, SLI, full flight controls with pedals/joystick/throttle, and so on.  This is one thing that I am really liking about this, that it is built for PC gamers first and foremost.

The new commercial is well done -- and for those that have it -- in 4k UHD.

The Hornet variants are out. I was right about the rock-paper-scissors configs on ships. Looks like we've now got our full baseline military fighter and bomber options now. They added an recon, stealth, and a limited edition 2 seater type. Looks like the hangar patch will be in later today. The limited edition Super Hornet will be only available for the next week.

Looks like I'll melt down my non-limited edition Freelancer for now so I can get a Super Hornet. I'm back to melting down regular ships so I can get the limited editions. Got till late November to pick up the regulars with LTI.

Looks like entry into the Super Hornet is broken in this patch. The big gatling guns on it look cool though.

Are you Super Hornet in the business hangar? Wondering which variation is working and which isn't.

Correct.  I will admit it took some fancy footwork to position myself at an odd angle to get the "use" icon but it did appear and the animations were fine.
