Add me to the list. Currently running (2) Maxwell Titan X HC model cards, and loved them so much I'd really like to get a pair of the HC 1080 Ti if it's going to be released. Anybody heard a peep on an ETA or whether they're even making it for the 1080 Ti?

AIOs are great for those not looking to venture into the custom watercooling world.  It has its own learning curve and should be taken seriously when messing with liquids and electronics.  On the other hand, AIOs are set and forget.

With the hybrid AIOs, not a bad idea but not ideal custom temps.  Your Delta's on the hybrids are going to be around 20-30c, if not more since its only a single 120mm rad that usually can dissipate about 100w if the fan speeds are set to max.  Going with a full block on a AIO wouldn't be a wise idea since you're already overwhelming a single radiator with the GPU's core.  I think it's fine the way they have it. Going full waterblock would and should be done under custom water cooling.

As for Hydro Coppers, thanks for sharing that the next blocks, if there are, won't be EK.  That's unfortunate since they make great blocks but so does Swiftech.  I hope they go back to Swiftefch and not some chinese knockoff as I've been a swiftech guy for a number of years.  I actually like their blocks which are made from copper and acetal mostly but lately I've noticed their new blocks being acrylic which is a no-no for me.  I've dealt with acrylic in the past.  Sure they might look neat with LEDs or color fluids but if it's a threaded port, there's a good chance it can crack from a bit of pressure and I believe they lose a bit of their strength overtime from heat.  Acetal is simple and I have less worries of something cracking, from my experience over the years.  I like my fittings a bit tight and acetal has no problem with that, along with the o-rings but acrylic, you can say goodbye on that. lol

I also hope they come with a hydro copper but with a Classified of course to keep my rig's theme alive.  I would hate to force my hand on a regular hydro when my rig is full of classiness.   It's a nich market and hope they bring us this and all the ICX bells and whistles, along with RGB.  I can only image the price tag though.  I just hope its not too high.

Murmaider
First time posting because I want to add my name to the growing list of people looking for a HC 1080ti.

For me a AIO is pointless because I've already invested in a custom loop and a air-cooler won't fit in my mITX case so the HC edition card is by far the best off the shelf upgrade.

As far as I know EVGA is the only company to offer a factory installed water block so I hope they keep producing them.

Well, to your last point you're missing several companies then, including MSI, Gigabyte and Zotac.

I think dual slots are fine as they lessen the strain on the PCIe lane.  <-- Rhymes

Sadly EVGA added DVI ports to their custom cards. Well just have to wait and see if they reverse course for the Ti HC card.

I don't see anything wrong with DVI, especially those with 1080p monitors that only support DVI/HDMI and I surely don't feel like spending extra funds on adapters without it.

The thread is about single slot. The DVI is in the 2nd slot. The FE removes the DVI port for better airflow cooling by using the entire 2nd slit for venting. Evga added the port back on which makes it a 2 slot card unless you hack it off.
For a single slother card a FE with a waterblock is the best option. Since they base the Hydrocopper off of the FTW model it will most likely not be single slot capable.

I haven't heard anything from MSI, Gigabyte, or Zotac yet on 1080ti cards with blocks yet.  I am guessing there will be a Seahawk one from MSI as they had the 1080s at Microcenter which is pretty mainstream. I almost got one but I am such a loyalist to EVGA because of their amazing customer service. I am guessing/hoping they will have some Hydro Coppers  by June 12th as that's my birthday!

Yep, for me it's between MSI / EVGA - whoever releases their waterblocked card first I will buy 2 from. :) Wish one of them would hurry TF up, I'm ready to pull the trigger right now.

Well thanks Wizard, it seems to be a race now to see who it will be. I am a sucker and will undoubtedly choose EVGA but the competition counts for something.  I am rocking 2 OG Titans from like June of 2013. I think a single 1080ti is like 4 times as fast as both of these together.

I don't think there is a race tbh. MSI will release their waterblocked 1080ti months before EVGA just like with the 1080. EVGA views the watercooling crowd as a niche market and releases to us after getting the mainstream cards out. The interesting thing with this strategy is that while we are niche market, we are the upper end of the market and are the crowd that get the most "media" time. Water builds tend to get a lot more attention, so EVGA is losing out on a major marketing opportunity.

Ya, if EVGA is as slow as you say with the waterblocked cards, they are indeed losing out...will be losing out on my business for sure and I'd actually prefer to buy EVGA if possible; but definitely not waiting months for them.

I would love to see all the AIB partners compete in the custom watercooling world.  Would be amazing for us niche folks but it's getting a bit mainstream or at least its way more than what it was say, 10-15+ years ago.  Way more folks are doing these kind of builds than ever before, whether it be custom or AIOs.

It is a shame because I feel like most people prefer EVGA but wait times and low inventory seem to be an issue. They could just be outselling everyone and have no issues with moving their own inventory but that is what us common folk seem to think. I am very patient and will wait but contemporary society refuses to wait an extra second for anything.

I also notice a lot of us die hards have some type of loyalty origin story. For me EVGA handled an RMA very awesomely with me when I have run into issues with ASUS customer support so I like to know that if there is an issue it will be handled properly. I'm still waiting on a replacement monitor from ASUS since my request in November.

Lastly I would post pictures of my 1080ti HCs all over everywhere

As you see in my build, EVGA is proudly plastered all over it. Sad that I won't be able to keep that aesthetic if I move to a WCed ti.

Is liquid cooling really a "niche" field these days? :) I struggle to understand how folks can be heavy gamers these days with any enjoyment when their video cards sounds like an airplane spooling up for takeoff, hah. Hard to get immersed in the games we play with so much irritating noise.

Still is a niche since they don't sell as many as they do with air coolers otherwise you'd be seeing way more selections with blocks on them.

Oh I know the feeling of what a jet sounds like and a heat wave heating you smack in the face when I used to have a pair of GTX 480s (Fermi).  Even a headset couldn't muffle out that noise, let alone add more sweat to ones head.  I felt like I was in a hot jungle scene from Farcry with a 747 flying over my head.

I will be waiting patiently for this. Planning to order 2 of them as soon as they are available to replace my current 980 HCs.

Ever since my GTX 480 HCs, I can never go back to regular air cooled cards lol

I am also waiting for the 1080 Ti Hydro Copper. Put me down for 2 (even better if they are single slot).
