Banjo Kazooie, like the old ones not the butchering known as Nuts & Bolts. Unfortunately though, I don't think we're getting one, or a good one at least, as long as Microsoft still holds the IP and owns Rare.
 
We did get Yooka-Laylee recently, which is a spiritual successor to it and had some of the old devs from Rare (who worked on Banjo Kazooie, and DK 64) working on it. I had a lot of fun with it myself.
 
I can't really think of any good reboots ATM. There are a lot of classics whose series / IPs have gone to trash like Sonic, but still persist. There are also quite a few games that have been rebooted already.

That game was loads of fun. Activision ran the series into the ground to avoid it competing with Call of Duty. Activision allowed a no name developer to use Soldier of Fortune name to help sell a sub-par game that didn't require a cdkey, that how bad of a port it was.
 
 

The original Metal Gear for NES before the story got all weird, Dino Crysis (one and two) for playstation was super fun. Wanderers from Ys 3. The original Unreal game. There are probably a ton of old school pc and Nes games but I can't think of anymore right now.

I played the hell out of Saboteur. I think it was one of the underated games of 2009. Sure it had some kinks but it had a lot going for it. Sucks that pandemic was done after that game. I would like to see it in full DirX 11 glory. That and original Borderlands in Dx 11 as well and my life would be complete.

There are quite a few games that really could do with a reboot. The original Crysis and Warcraft 3 are two titles that come to mind right away. 

I agree fully with Warcraft 3 but I would wonder if they would try to make a Warcraft 4 use the storyline of World of Warcraft which in a way I feel would mess things up a bit. It's also a series I feel they almost would need to redo the original games since the storyline holds up but the games don't. Warcraft 2-3 are still fun to play but the original feels really dated now but I feel the storyline was good and could be rebooted easily.
 
As for Banjo Kazooie I could see Microsoft wanting to make a new game if Crash does well. I almost feel it's needed because I played Ratchet & Clank on the PS4 and really enjoyed how refreshing it was to play. It was a great looking throwback to when consoles games felt different then PC games.
 
Guess I should also add No One Lives Forever to the list. I really like the James Bond 60's spy nod that the game had and also how it managed to have a lot of humor in it.

I would love to see a reboot of the entire Wing Commander series...
