Hi
I have a P2 1200w PSU, and one thing I dislike, is just how long the cables are (room they take up). Just wondering if anyone has found compatible cables that are either the flat ones (take up less space) or some 8pin GPU/24pin cables that are like 1 ft long.

Thanks

PS
Yeah, I know about cablemods but that's a hell of a price for 4 cables that are short and will not even be seen :-)

I've had luck using the LINKUP custom cables off Amazon with my 850 Supernova G2, but I'm sure others may have better suggestions. I also didn't want to pay those insane prices for Cablemods.

I am a bit shocked no one has thought to make them. I know there are the shorty ones, but they are too short, but I thought someone would be doing like 1 ft long ones for compart systems. I just need ones long enough to hook up to my Lian Li strimmer cables.

    Will see what Linkup has.

    Thanks

Some of these terminals and ~10 dollar wire cutter/stripper/crimping combo tool of your choice..Some of your time to tag/remove the terminals/cut the wires to desired length/strip and put on new terminals and put them in the connector(s)..Done, no real biggie..Or see what your local PC repair shop will do it for.

    Sorry missed your reply.

This has crossed my mind as I do have a spare set to mess with, but my only worry is mess up a wire and I break down in tears as my PC goes BOOM! :-)

    2 options come to mind
1- third party cables (Linkup, cablemod)
2- Buy a  Power Supply Tester and go with bob16314 suggestion, then before plugging to pc use the tester, and check the results.
