and the driver setup program comes up with this???
Oh, and the guy above with the
Updating/Installing/Fixing 5/6/7/8/9/200/400 Drivers READ donta1979 (EVGA GeForce 9 Series )
thread? Not a single one of the first few steps worked and then it just got beyond confusing.
 
What is wrong with my hardware that the setup program chokes on it? OS is Windows Vista Home Premium. My Samsung monitor with sound driver setup is choking on this as well. HELPPPP!!

    Is this a new build? Or, did you have another video card before?  Did you disable your onboard graphics chip in bios before you installed the new card?

    Are you sure that your installing the right drivers for your rig?  I'm not trying to insult you here.  Sometimes it is pretty easy to download and/or install the wrong driver set for your card.

    Please post more info about your system (i.e. power supply)
