Specially positioned speakers within the ear cups channel the sound directly into the ears which the company says ensures the best possible spatial representation and awareness of the gaming environment. I have only tried Sennheiser gaming headphones once but the sound quality is fantastic and I expect this model to be equally great.
 

I love Sennheiser headphones but I'll just keep my HD 598s.
 
I switched over to Sennheiser headphones a few years back because I had two $100 gaming headsets die on me within a year of each other so I decided to switch to studio headphones with an external condenser microphone for gaming and I've not been disappointed since. Since either the cables or the microphones have been the weak link for every pair of headphones and earbuds that has ever died on me and I am still hesitant to get a wireless headset, these Sennheisers , having a removable cable is a big bonus. If the cable ever died on me I could order a new cable for $10 instead of paying another $200 for a new headset. The audio quality is a lot better too.
 
With that being said though, these could be some truly amazing headphones for somebody that can afford them. I've owned two pairs of Sennheiser headphones and I've been impressed with their quality. If I had that kind of money to throw around I would probably buy them myself.

GSP's are going for $230 on Amazon.  Not sure where $370 came from unless its one of them scalpers.

I use the Senneiser PC363D.  Well worth every penny.  The quality overall is great and so is the microphone that is included.  Quality stuff compared to competitors if you're willing to dish out the funds.

I have a pair of PXC-550s..which are fine for me...tho I got them for the traveling I'll be doing for work...
