Hi All, Trying to rule out an issue, have a z77x-ud3h motherboard and the GTX 780 ACX, 1000w PSU. I've noticed every once in a while my screen blinks to black. Now at first I thought it might be a driver issue, however I just did a fresh install of linux and had I'm pretty sure I had the same thing happen after playing a game (unless that issue is on the linux Nvidia drivers as well). I updated to the latest bios for both the MB and the card. Windows was a fresh install. Besides the blinking, I tried stressing the GPU a bit with the OC Scanner, and everyone once in a while the screen seems like its garbled towards the bottom. It goes by so fast hard to describe . Anyone else have a z77x-ud3h or something similar? Any issues?

I have that motherboard and I had my fair share of issues with the 780, my problem was that it didn't boot past BIOS up on installation, this was sorted out after a BIOS update to F14. I haven't got any screen flashing so far, I have played games such as BF3 Skyrim and FarCry 3, so far it seems ok. I am using Windows 8 Pro 64 bit with Drivers 320.18.

I would think driver too but since bios installs have you cleared cmos yet? If not, do it,reboot go to bios and reset it up, then save and reboot and see if it happens again.Other than that does your monitor have a red or pink tint to the screen when you first turn it on and it gradually goes away? Does any of the monitor osd stuff come up after it comes back on? Does it get moved around ever, like to plug a laptop in the back etc... or the table its on get bumped alot?

Cmos was cleared and re-setup No pink / red on the screen. The OSD stuff does not come up and does not get moved around. Thanks

Hello burmjohn, Did you have these issues with the previous graphics card that was in the system? You may want to try different cables/monitor with your current setup if possible. You may want to also make sure that you have the latest firmware version for your graphics card from http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=1944772 Next, verify the power supply's output voltage. Go into your motherboard BIOS. You are looking for a section called either Hardware Monitor/HW Monitor/System Monitor/PC Health Status. Once in, you need to look for the output on +12V, output needs to be between 11.96 and 12.30. The reading should also not fluctuate more than .05v. If the output is outside that range try testing with another power supply. Please let us know of the results so that we may be able to assist you further.

Hello, +12v is solid, no dips monitoring it @ 12.312V I had the evga 570 GTX in here before, and never had an issue (same monitor / cables). Already updated the bios on the GFX card. It just happened again, blinked two or three times during a game. Thanks

I updated the firmware and now is worse, I had to go into Safe Mode and delete the drivers, because with drivers could not get into Windows. See the attachment. What can i do to returns it to previous state? Now i don't care the blinks lol
